Can the world be changed with a comic book?
Considering that it's paper that mostly dictates how you live, money, the constitution, lawbooks, etc. I figure I can create paper with just as much power. I've thought long and hard about the best first step in gaining followers of my movement, uni-luv. Uni-luv isn't a religion, it's merely worshipping god. And the worship is not going to church, it's having fun and making others' lives better. We acknowledge "god" as the ancient hebrew word for good, and this is exactly how we like to think of our creator, just an omnipotent being of love.

I decided on a comic book because a film would be hard to produce and my youtube series wasn't getting anywhere. I've thought about the best way to get people to look at the big picture for once, but it's very hard when they want to stop reading after the first sliver of truth pierces their skin. It was then I decided I needed a clever story to include my truths, instead of presenting them in a comic book psa.

The comic explains many things, connecting all things as one, basically, then it explains how humans have already hit rock-bottom in their (de)"evolution" as sinners, and how now it's time after learning enough of evil to live in the light. The comic book ends with pictures of a lovely fruit tree filled paradise with naked black people doing all sorts of fun games, just like I imagine life to be like in the coming millenias.

Now all I need are some good ideas for a title, comments, suggestions, and questions.

Yeah, the divine can disguise itself in the mundane. But also the profane can do the same. So who knows?

Comics have lost most of the impact the used to have, due to the proliferation of video games and other media. Comics shops are predominantly frequented by guys of college age or older.
If you have some money to throw into it, however, you might consider a publication for Free Comic Book Day, which takes place the first Saturday of May each year. . .

Wow...someone actually believes in a comic book sunday!

(I thought I was the only one...!)

Johny comes home with a political/moral comic book Uni-Luv and says to his dad: "It says here bankers are evil! They are speculating on food driving up the price and starving millions!" "How do you live with yourself Dad, your a banker?"

His dad says, "I read that one son, #336 Uni-Luv,yes financial institutions are hedging food, and yes it is immoral, evil and very un-loving!" But my bank just had a board of directors meeting where we discussed this comic issue, and frankly, we decided to scrap our food commodities plan and open up a micro-financing scheme for farmers in the developing world!"

"I luv you dad" says Johny.
"Luv you son" replies his dad. BTW did Che your social economics teacher give you the Uni-Luv comic book?

"No dad, our black lesbian naturalist principal did!

"Good for her, She's from Vancouver right?". Replies his dad, "I remember back in the day when your mom and I met her on rec beach!"

(Just trying to go with you OP; but my wife says that what ever happens in the garden should stay in the garden! What ever that means! So maybe try the Uni-Luv without the butt naked sunsets!)

(Get ahold of me anyway...I think with a few tweeks you might have something).

Yes, actually, we use the oldest calendar of them all: No calendar. We don't care much for months, we just have the seasons, unless we happen to be on the equator. It's always TODAY, and we keep track of dates with moon cycles.

Plot and characters? Haven't thought too much on it yet, my best idea is only an alien (lame, I know, I haven't begun to stretch my creativity yet though) teaching someone, probably Jesus, how highly illogical white man's castles (civilization) are. I will be having better ideas.

Lol @ the post about the banker. You've given me the idea for the title! Uni-Luv was staring me in the face, and I've ben wanting something simple this whole time. Runner Ups include 'Richer Than Gold', 'Earth Has Cancer', 'So You Want To Be A God', 'The Stoner's Bible', 'Toxic Society', 'The Red Pill', and some others that shall not be named at this time.

no butt naked sunsets? Everything has a chiller vibe when you're naked, with other naked people. The atmosphere is so honest, as if there's no possible way they could be concealing a weapon, or a large cock. Natural selection and size queens would appreciate common nudity all the more. I want to live in Rio, and my goal is to get black, even if it requires living in Africa a few centuries (Yes, my comic holds the secret to longetivity/youth), so I basically can't afford to not be tanning.

The first thing I did, when I got out of Mom's house, was to order a subscription to SUPERMAN.

I still read comics.

I picked up a copy of an ancient Twilight Zone comic yesterday and found myself weirdly amazed! How did this medium for teaching morality and principles die out? Supernatural Life after natural death seemed to be a major theme, how bad can that be?

Just a thought; do whatever you want! Go against the grain, include any theme you feel expresses what is in your heart. I don't have to like it, but it is a big world, you will find an audience. Creativity is the ultimate personal honesty, let it evolve from the inside out. Worst case scenario is a book burning nazi like NWO wipes your stuff off the face of the Earth!

I like your idea of timelessness. Early man knew not days, hours and seconds but only moon phases and seasons.

Take a vacation, live on a beach, take only a sketch book, get a tan, surprise us...!

I may use my banker idea under a different label just to try the market. But if you want to use the idea, go right ahead. I just want to encourage you to find your creative self to promote honesty and empathy, the medium is yours.
