Petition to impeach Obama on We The People government website and the official response to it. | |

Which might be a good thing. I can't see that the upheaval an impeachment would bring to our country would be a good thing. Not something to be done lightly. What people can and should do is be proactive by voting. They should vote on candidates based on the issues that are important to them, and become thoroughly familiar with the candidates stance on the issues that are important to them. Also know your candidate. Learn about your candidates history before not after you vote for him. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34424297 "Go screw yourselves , we serve Obama, Not the American people". As an American i just didn't like the way they phrased it. "So the short answer is that we won't be calling for the President's impeachment -- and given the fact that you made your appeal to the White House itself, we doubt you were holding your breath waiting for our support." Found it a little rude, condescending and arrogant? Could be just me. Basically felt as if they were saying since you made your appeal to us you're stupid and ignorant of how to go about it properly and you surely didn't expect us to take any action. I didn't sign the petition , still am not happy with the language used. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 34660201 United States 02/18/2013 06:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look at their responses to all the legalization petitions. The endless mockery. [link to www.salon.com] Rather than answer the petition’s request that President Obama support the congressional legislation at hand, Kerlikowske only said “the Justice Department is reviewing the legalization initiatives passed in Colorado and Washington.” He then points concerned citizens to the president’s previous interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters in which Obama said he does not support legalization of marijuana. But, tellingly, that interview never addresses whether the president supports legislation to give states, and not the federal government, explicit authority to legalize it on their own within their own state borders. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 34666766 Greece 02/18/2013 07:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I read the petition and I thought it was poorly written and lacking pertinent facts. For example: The author never mentioned The secret kill list, drones over US cities or the NDAA. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8728680 There were many more issues that could have been brought up . Was not necessary though. The violation of the Constitution alone would be enough. in violating the Constitution he violates the presidential oath he took. |

Thanks. Interesting link. I really don't think they actually intend to ever act on any of these petitions. I got the feeling that they use them more as a tool for feedback. Very misleading for those who start them and those who sign them. "That's why the White House has created a host of new tools and channels to help concerned citizens hear from us, and more importantly, to help President Obama hear directly from you. And the fact you signed this petition means you've already found at least one of them." |

Therefore they have to vote him out (impeach) of which only senior members of the Corporations board (house of Rep) (Senate) can do - and since the Corporation is profiting (off you) why should they? There are celebrations, parties, balls, galas, to attend ... because Corporate CEO's celebrate profits under their leadership. |
