7 Mile Long SUPER POD Of Over 100,000 Dolphins Race Past San Diego - Experts Concerned
A group of over 100,000 dolphins spotted off the coast of San Diego caused a spectacle for nature watchers as they traveled together in an enormous pack.
'They were coming from all directions, you could see them from as far as the eye can see,' Joe Dutra said after seeing the spectacle first hand.
Mr Dutra, who captains Hornblower Cruises, was out on his daily tour with a boat full of nature watchers when he spotted the massive group of dolphins.

So....the question is....what are they running from? What stirred them up to run in such a huge pack?

I look up at the sky, and wonder where I am on earth. Then I wonder where I am in the solar system. Then I wonder where I am in the galaxy. Then I wonder where I am in the universe. Then I wonder what universe am I in.

So, this is 500-6,500 times the size of the normal groups that travel the seas

"Dolphins typically travel in groups of anywhere between 15 and 200 which are called pods."

The NK nuke test. Dolphins would usually pick up signals from the earth and water prior to quakes. This time, they got the quake, and may be gathering where it feels the most calm.

Sometimes they gather in super pods of several thousand to home in on large shoals of fish. For example, off the coast of S Africa when the sardines migrtae from deep water to shallow following plankton blooms.

But this sounds like there is something bigger than food.

I agree. I was reading a bit earlier and it said typically largest pods reach maybe 5,000 but that is extremely rare

If they Beach Themselves in mass Suicide then be very concerned.

Dolphins don't beach for any other purpose.

This is a bad OMEN. Somthing is terribly wrong with the numbers.

This is way so not normal.

I am not liking all these Omens Lately. The Dove. The lightening. The Dolphins. The signs in the Sky.

People you have 3 weeks to get it together. March 20th 2013 it all starts to unravel in a big way. I just know it.

Don't wait to get it together. Not this time.

That is his point, idiot.

Most people would never see these large pods because usually they are only found far out to sea where you cannot see. But someone who sails would see it.

These do happen and if you research before posting with your hair on fire you would know that.

And the number given in the article is exaggereated. Dutra is a bit of a woo, like you.

The Dailymail article did suggest that the explanation is a migratory pattern. That's probably the best explanation you're going to get.

Ahhh...cause there are never ships 100 miles out to sea, right? And this has been reported numerous times, right? I think not. What you're ranting on about doesn't matter. There are tons of ocean going vessels and there is rarely a photo or video of anything remotely similar to this. Like I said...the research I DID DO, was reporting that the largest groups rarely go over 5,000 in numbers. This is 20 times that number (Just in case you were having a hard time with the math)
