Weirdly enough, it was the dog that found the bullet from when her bf was killed/suicided just recently.

The first thing I thought of when I heard the news is that she very likely killed her bf. He supposedly was abusive to her. She was under investigation, altho I don't think they named her a suspect yet.

Sure sounds to me like she shot the bf, then shot the dog cuz he found the bullet for the police, then shot herself cuz she knew they were onto her. Hopefully none of that is true. But I don't think they'll ever know now.

Good thing her kids were taken away. Had they been there, she might have killed them along with the dog.

Bet her family sues the pants off the hospital that discharged her just prior to this. I don't think she was there long enough for them to have been able to get an accurate assessment of her emotional state.

Ok, that explains the earlier reports quoting her neighbors as "...hearing SHOTS fired..." (plural). I knew multiple shots doesn't sound right for a suicide, but now it kind of makes sense... Although I still find it odd when a woman (especially a pretty one) shoots herself- most women, I assume by nature, vanity, etc., usually choose something less disfiguring- razor blade, pills, gas, etc.... It does happen (girl I went to high school with shot her ex then herself, and she was a former model), but I would have been less shocked if she had went the handful of pills + booze route, since she obviously had alcohol and/or prescription med issues...

Actually, statistically Men use guns more because it is more final, more manly and more men typically have guns. Women typically use pills, or other none painful, non invasive means, although many women do hang themselves. These are all statistics, it does not cover every personality, every circumstance. Maybe she had the gun, knew how to use it and knew, that once you get past the thought of your face being gone, it actually is fairly painless, as long as you shoot the right spot. Up through the chin is standard, however, the temple, of above the bridge of the nose are best. (NOT GIVING ADVICE HERE, JUST KNOWLEDGE)

People often kill their pets because they don't want to leave them with no one to take care of them. Fucked up minds think fucked up things.

We have no idea what kind of hell her life was. I doubt she killed her boyfriend, and I don't know why you people are getting SO worked up about her shooting the dog.

Guns are final. Drugs and booze don't always work. Most wake pukeing and have to start all over again.

not everybody has a lab that will go around and lick every strangers hand like society forces us to believe is the "right thing" - by forcing dog obedience classes etc. Some pets are just different, so devoted to their owner that it would literally be pet abuse if they allowed them to pine away after their master is gone. And they will - they will stop eating and eventually die and it's a horrible thing to watch. I'm not justifying what she did, she probably had a happy go lucky dog that would follow anybody home like most of the country - but just saying if a person recognized this in their pet, and they were suicidal too, they would probably take the pet with them.

This woman was a walking time-bomb and should have had intervention. This was SO preventable. Just a tragic, tragic story.

News reports on TV don't mention the dog. I have no sympathy for her, but I do have sympathy for the poor dog that lived with this despicable woman.

Why kill the dog? What is wrong with people? Poor dog.

Maybe it wasn't suicide. Could have been revenge of boyfriend's deranged family framed to look like suicide who THOUGHT she'd either killed her boyfriend or made him psycho enough to kill himself. Be kind to those who pass over. RIP and best thoughts to her family.

Remember her music. If anything get outraged at antidepressants which are KNOWN to make people suicidal AND deranged homicidal people period. Why we give people pills who are depressed (border suicidal) which can make them outrageously suicidal is beyond me. Should be a crime for sadists to be able to prescribe them to watch this effect of their pills on their victims.
