Mindy McCready SHOT HER DOG *THEN* KILLED HERSELF

This woman has been trying to kill herself since 2005. She has been on all kinds of prescription drugs and has problems with alcohol. She finally succeeded in doing the act. She was mentally unstable, and people in her condition do fucked up stuff. I can understand killing the dog if you are nearly insane. It's a good thing those kids were taken away from her. She probably would of killed them too, before turning the gun on herself.

I did some reading on her last night. She was not a normal person. She has done it all. It started at an early age with an affair with MLB baseball player Roger Clements. She was a teenager at the time.

She rose to fame and fortune as a country singer, but her career declined as fast as she reached the top. That can have some stress on any artist.


She has a sex tape too, which is very odd for a female country performer. You mainly see those with these reality show sluts.

Too bad she just didnt shoot herself 1st. Poor dog. This is more proof humans are the most wicked species on earth

When asked if McCready's life could have been saved by staying longer in rehab, McKnight admitted that her issues would have required much more time.

"I don't know how she got out [of the hospital]," he said. "Perhaps staying there and grieving… could have calmed her down. But the demons that she hasn't beaten were there, and until she was going to face them something was going to happen and everyone who knows her personally knew that."

I agree with this one- it struck me as really weird.

Many people have had abuse in their lives or mental illness- and DO NOT commit suicide, much less kill something else (or someone) before offing themselves.

She was mentally unstable- totally OFF her meds- and a drug and alcohol abuser. Abuse or no abuse, that does not make it any more 'right'.

It's odd. I am glad the children weren't there.

Sounds like the person that murdered her had to kill the dog first.

She wanted to take the dog with her. Some suicidals will do that. I knew a man that was very close to his dog. He drove out in the country, shot his dog and then himself.

The most likely person to shoot the dog first is an intruder.
