I do not agree that the fruits of God's Spirit are emotions, although some do have an impact on emotions. The fruits of the Spirit are traits of character imparted to ones soul. For example, peace is a quality of mind and heart, but an emotion? Long-suffering or patience is an attribute of character, but I do not see it as an emotion. Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control---how are those emotions? Are they not character traits that manifest themselves in actions that can be seen rather than just an inward emotion?

so then who is the "real" god? in your own words... if it is blasphemy and related to "Babylon", wouldn't all religion be blasphemous if a walk with "god" is personal?

Sometimes I think that relationships and needing, desires are of the same old ego, and low form of consciousness, or put it this way- anything that just comes and goes is not real, no need in connecting with it beyond reason, the past is dead and fake. Love is real, love and relationships are not in the same league. There is no need to step into a commitment when you fall in love with someone, the miracle already happened, you fell in love, after that it can only go downhill. What is real and it is there somewhere is beyond our intelligence. And it is very very scary to step there, not because of the bad, but because it's too powerful and unknown in its nature, to step there one has to acquire a high level of understanding and a definitive state, an understanding that will make you lose the bond with the material world and make another one, with the big frightening- unknown.

It's one thing to feel emotion. It's another to let it control you.

Emotions are part of us. Deal with it.

Until we find a technological advance that allow us to get in control, we have to live with it.

Still, we could be more evolved and avoid negative emotions like envy, angry, and such. But this needs our evolution as species. And such evolution could take centuries, or even more, if we survive.

nice post subject, the development from childhood of being bullied and scared of the dark etc moulding us into a subjective wreck and as you get older you realise what a nightmare life really is, acceptance of failings and flaws in our reality.
