Fukushima kids have skyrocketing number of thyroid abnormalities - report
A recent report into the Fukushima Nuclear disaster of 2011 has shown that more than forty percent of children have thyroid abnormalities.

The Tenth Report of the Fukushima Prefecture Health Management Survey, released earlier this week, with data up to January 21, 2013, revealed that 44.2 percent of 94,975 children sampled had thyroid ultrasound abnormalities. The number of abnormalities has also been increasing over time as well as the proportion of children with nodules equal to and larger than 5.1 mm and any size cysts have increased.
The report has also revealed that 10 of 186 eligible are suspected of having thyroid cancer as a result of the exposed radiation.

No health effects from Fukushima: Japan researcher

A Japanese government-backed researcher said Friday no health effects from radiation released by the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant have been seen in people living nearby.

The pronouncement by Kazuo Sakai of Japan's National Institute of Radiological Sciences is the latest by authorities seeking to quell fears over the long-term effects of the disaster.
---
"To put it the other way round, we can't say risk of cancer will rise if you are exposed to radiation lower than 100 millisieverts," he said, adding that most people measured had radiation exposure of 20 millisieverts or less. Sakai said radiation is not at "the level we have to worry about its health effect," for people in Fukushima, taking into account exposure from the atmosphere and ingestion from food. His comments came as the Fukushima prefectural government panel said this week three people who were 18 or younger when the nuclear crisis erupted in March 2011 have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

We need to have not one but a few Eyes on the Situation (in F'Shima)
but we all need to think about the Scenario how we would
react when this happened in our own Place, Town or Country!

In my Opinion it is too late to complain or acting surprised
about something that already happened, we should thing about
our Future, we can't change the past but we are able to
create our Tomorrow!

It is depending on your/ the ability to read,
because it is said "no health effects from radiation released by the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant have been seen in people living nearby" which is more or less right
(the Past)
they don't spoke about a Time in the future!
