Hey Salt! Haha we were on the same wave length the past few days...ohyeah!

I just saw the movie two nights ago. The suspense was killing me...not pleasant but still, it was an excellent movie.

I love Bradley Cooper but I LOVE Robert De Niro even more eyebat

I also noticed how the book title was 'enhanced' to add more intrigue to the movie's plot. I was TRIPPING over the blood scene too...I was left with such a knot in my stomach tdown!

Anyway, De Niro's "Don't Make Me Your Competition" speech...it just blew me away...especially the words 'greasy little rungs' lol...best part of the movie hf

Actually, it was NZT-48

Eddie takes Vernon's card with his address and phone number, and accepts the pill and arrives home.

No, actually it was MDT-48.

Eddie Spinola is a copywriter at a small publishing house in New York City. He starts using MDT-48, a fictional experimental drug granting heightened intellectual, creative, and learning powers, and enabling its user to see meaningful patterns in large amounts of disparate information. However, he experiences drug dependence and mental instability.[3] On the run from police and creditors, facing death due to withdrawal from the drug, which he can no longer afford, his new career in high finance cut short by his increasingly erratic behavior, Eddie notices the President on television and recognizes the "alert, gorged MDT expression in his eyes."[4]

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891) heralded the dawn of the New Age Movement. Her writings are the foundation for many occult fraternities. After publishing monumental works such as Isis Unveiled and The Secret Doctrine, the Theosophical Society (1875) was formed to spread her teachings worldwide. She claimed to receive her revelations from Secret Chiefs, or disembodied Ascended Masters; who claimed to be aiding humanity evolve into a race of supermen. Freemasonry took notice and many soon proclaimed her an occult genius.

In reading through the comments on the thread about the movie, its implications and meanings, as well as related movies and documentaries, I see pretty much a common theme: the replacement of natural intuition with an artificial substitute. It is not unlike the replacement of face-to-face conversations with internet chatter... or even telephone calls where we listen to another's voice with text messages that are just pixels on a screen.

The word "desensitizing" comes to mind.
We become like that to which we are devoted. - Choose wisely.

I can only imagine how it must feel. I took adderall for a while during/after college for ADD. This stuff is like crack...at least for me it was. I had a tough time coming off of it because of the high/mental clarity I had when I was on it. I am no longer taking it and have tried to find ways to focus without drugs for over a year now. Its some powerful stuff. I am very sensitive to any med though.

This movie had so much symbolism in it. I do feel we as humans are evolving at a rapid rate right now and many are opening up and using higher brain capacity vs the past (a few are at least, most are too stuck in their iphones and tv shows to notice). Yet, we are constantly overstimulated so our brains/minds can't catch up with the changing world around us!

The Illuminati are illuminated in the mind, perhaps they have an illuminating cocktail they drink on a daily basis.

Maybe we ought to be careful of what we are ingesting?

It all sounds kind of "trippy" to me.

What I found interesting is that you bring this topic up about DMT, as I just watched this video a couple of weeks ago:

if ur thinking DMT is the same as the limitless drug its DEF NOT
its natural substance found already in your brain and in nature. it puts you out of body into a massive trip similar to shrooms since psilocybin is [3-(2-Dimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-4-yl] dihydrogen phosphate which is very close to common sythned dmt

yup! very occultish... and the price to be payed for super powers... of course they "figure it out" in the end, but in real life? I bet they all are basically possessed... someone was saying this recently... our leadership is possessed at this point, beyond return... :)

this movie gave me a contact high when I first watched it, cuz I used to take some insane hallucinogens that enhanced everything and made me feel amazing...

DMT--btw, I wrote Rick Strassman and asked him if any of his DMT peeps were Christ-centered... not one was... this might make a huge difference in the outcome of the results, IMO..

This movie is indicative of what the human mind is capable of...we are all connected through quantum entanglement energetically to things around us (even inanimate objects as shown in the movie).
