Christianity and Makeup Advertising = SAME THING

Why?

Let's look at how makeup is advertised:

You see are given a product that is meant enhance your features, but the advert poses the subject as if what you have already isn't good enough, and only uses women in it's adverts that (from a general point of view) are already beautiful. It exploits insecurity by making people they need to be better than they are naturally, and sets its own standards in order to make profit. If you use our makeup, you will be beautiful! (Like your already not?)

Now let's look at Christianity:

You have a product (Christianity), a beautiful covergirl (Jesus), and an exploitation of insecurity aka. fear (Hell). The religion teaches you that if you do not follow its rules, you are living in sin, and that you will go to Hell. Then it uses its beautiful covergirl Jesus as an example of what you SHOULD be like. Because you are scared shitless of Hell, and you've bought in to the product, following Jesus becomes the logical alternative for you.

But you've been duped. Your fear has been exploited (sin) and now you don't feel whole without the product (without following its Rules). It has consumed your life, but if you turn away you fear you will be ugly again (go to Hell).
