Has anyone ever tried a liquid diet?
Has anyone here ever tried a liquid diet?

What were your results?

Every since I went on a low carb diet, I feel great.
The energy throughout the day is very consistent
and I'am always clear headed.

Until I eat that is.
Eating is heavy on the stomach and body.
Digestion steals your energy.

After eating I feel heavy, lazy, unfocused, irritated etc

So I'm thinking of going on a liquid diet
but not sure what to expect.

Any advice is appreciated.

What are you eating that makes you feel so bad? I don't think that's normal.

I did and what goes in comes out the same! Could have been because ours was considered a cleanse I guess. I had to stay home for a few days to run to the throne often! I do agree though as I can go all day not eating and feel great then eat and feel like crap.

I read that you should not be on a liquid diet for more than three days. I don't know how true that is.

When I want to lose weight, I'll drink liquids for three days and lose weight so easily, then I feel great. It "jump starts" my diet, and I shed pounds quickly after that.

Water is the source of all life, (in it's Pure Form)
Where there is water there is life. But I do not recommend a liquid diet, your brain does require a certain amount of enzymes to operate at full capacity.

The reason you feel poorly after eating is because
the food we consume in the 21st century no longer
has the nutrients we need to be healthy and thrive
the way we were meant to.

Through Genetically Modified organisms we have traded
away the benefits/blessings of Whole/Naturally grown foods that are the building blocks for strong minds and bodies.

For look-a-like artificial avatars that have zero nutritional value and lack any vitamins or minerals.
ie ; dead, lifeless things that mimic life.

The reason a lot of people are overweight is that
the "Food" they are consuming is "NOT FOOD", therefore
they eat and eat and the only thing they gain,is weight.

This is because of genetically modified corn syrup/starch
that has hidden extras that include cancers. And what the G.M.O.s lack in wholesomeness, they more than make up for in Poisons,Insect DNA,human DNA and human/animal
A Genetic Armageddon.

Grow your own food.

I love beef! but I do not feel it's safe to to eat any more, I eat very little now and it pisses me off.

Drink Fluoride Free water.

Sorry for ranting, Peace.
Civilization,

All one has to do is stand back' and see everything in motion to know that
it is a machine, one of a grand and diabolically evil design,to ensnare
men and rob them of their destiny.

Re: Has anyone ever tried a liquid diet?
Brother of a friend went on a "Juicer" diet, and lost over 200 pounds.

He bought a commercial grade juicer, got some recipies of all the stuff you can juice up, and over 30 months dropped from the near mid 400# level to near the 200# level by only using the juicer for all of his meals PLUS moderate exercise (started out just walking and nothing more). All the good things happened to him too: Diabetes went away, Heart issues went away, his mental concentration went up, and needless to say his energy level skyrocketed as well as his self confidence.

Consumer grade juicing machines can be had for about $100 on sale, though commercial grade machines are in the $500 to $800 range.

If you do go the "juicing" route though do what he did: Make sure you are getting a well balanced diet, though one heavily concentrated on fresh fruits and vegetables and NO extra sugars or artificial sweeteners.

Try a 6 month baked/boiled potato diet, you will get minerals, and energy from the starch, without the fat. DO NOT fry them.

Trust me, em wise.

Thanks alot to everyone for their great suggestions. I'm not trying to lose weight. My issue is with carbs and sugar that makes me depressed and lethargic. Then I would have to sleep for atleast 9 hours to recover.

After quitting them both I've been able to get my life back. I wake up fresh and energetic after only 5 hours of sleep and never run out of energy all throughout the day.

So I was wondering if a liquid diet would be even better. Since digestion would suck even less energy out of me if I lived solely on liquids.

Go at it for a short time to detix, but eventually, do an allergy test and eat based on what your body needs. I also suggest to do a nutritional typing test so you align your eating to your type of metabolism:

maybe rather than liquid look at more raw in your diet.. the problem may be the heavy digestion in eating what you are now. The closer to living food you eat the less energy needed to digest and assimilate the food..

I am not saying if you are eating cooked foods it is a bad thing but maybe have more raw in your diet than cooked and see how that works.

I eat mainly a raw food diet probably 90 to 10 cooked and have many things in the forms of a juice or liquified vegetable. I use a Blentec Blender for a lot of things. I love soups and the like just choose to make most things. I travel a lot so have to always figure out ways to keep raw more and cooked less in my diet.. but even steamed is better than nothing.

I am a energizer bunny of energy from the lethargy I had before... Research liquid for sure it is not hard for the system to digest but perhaps it is more the quality of the food or stasis of it to look at..
I really am not nearly as interesting as I should be but I certainly will try to find interest in nearly everything I can be. self quote.
