BREAKING: Colorado passes gun bill - 15 round mag cap!!

Someone please tell me, will they confiscate prior owned 16+ round mags or are they grandfathered in if you already own them?

This is a law written by people who are protected by guns yet have never shot a real gun in their lifes.

What happens when the wolf is at your door and the police are too busy to respond quickly or to respond at all.

All you'd have to do is bend up some small metal inserts for the magazine and pop-rivet in in place to stop the mag follower from travelling past 15 rounds and it should be fine.

I remember back in New Jersey you could only have 3 rounds in a shotgun for deer, and most shotguns held 5 rounds, so you could put a "dummy" insert in there that was as long as 2 shells and then it was legal to hunt with, so maybe...

I am ashamed of my state government. Having listened to some of the rhetoric, they have it wrong for all the wrong reasons. However, this is not a world of reason, but of madness. Some idiot said, it is worth it if it saves even one life. Of course, it is going to cause so many needless murders; and that responsibility will rest directly on the heads of all the state's politicians. I do not have anything beyond pepper gas for self-defense; and this causes greater concern, now, because of the social mindset here.
