I'm not trying to take a cheap shot at the OP, but we only see her side of what SHE saw. There are always at least 2 sides to every story and since the woman with 4 kids is not here to defend herself, there are some of us that are more human than others and realize that we must defend the weak and defenseless.. I mean.. that is what I thought being human was all about. I suppose however, we should be counting our blessings. The things you may not know.. she might have taken a bus or walked to get there, she might not have a nice car or home as you have. So, even if she and her kids got a night away out to enjoy their selves. Life is not as easy as it looks on people getting help from the state. Trust me. I have friends that sure they get food stamps.. but they also have to live in a horrible ghetto area without a vehicle. So, before you look down upon someone else.. turn the other way and be grateful for what you have. I'm sure you could think of 10 things you are grateful for. 1 starting with you do not have to pay for your stuff with an ebt card... 2. People will not have to look upon you like they look upon her.. but you never know what tomorrow might bring.. the coin could be tossed and you could be living life as she is.. Be Thankful for what YOU have. Be grateful ALWAYS! Remember she is not living the amazing good life! |

DAMN 4 kids.. her life is already a living hell.. I'm sure at this point if she could do over and work a 9 to 5 she would defiantly decide the job over the kids.. raising kids is way more energy, time and way worse than working a 9 to 5. fuck you give her a break , the whore should shut her fucking legs , you asshole |

El Tiburon (OP) User ID: 28375544 United States 02/18/2013 07:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was born my mother had to take a cab to the hospital to deliver me. Quoting: El Tiburon My father shoveled soybeans out of train cars and then worked security at night (for the same company). They didn't own a car. He often slept at work in the track switching office because he was simply too tired to WALK home. When I was 5 I had my first McDonalds hamburger. This was to celebrate my mother becoming a Registered Nurse. My mother then supported us (my father and I) until my father got his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Then my father went to work for a fortune 500 company, started as a draftsman and finished his career as a Vice President. He left that company at age 45 and started a business out of his garage. A business that one decade later employs over 100 people in ten states and is a multi million dollar company. So rags to riches.. sure.. But I promise you if they didn't have to work for it, they never would have amounted to shit. I on the other hand was lucky in that I was able to see both sides before leaving home for good. Maybe if they were less ambitious they would have spent more time with you. and could have driven your mom instead of her taking a cab. Theres a price to pay for everything you know. You wouldve had your first hamburger at age two instead of age five if your Mother stayed home to raise you before she got a nursing degree. Well we didn't own a car. So that would have been out of the question. |

Some people think everyone has the same priorities. Not EVERYONE wants to be like his family, it doesn't make them less of people, it makes them free to pursue their own dreams or find their own path. Yes, thank you, Like they say, time is money and Im sure kids who had parents that spent a lot of time with them, wouldnt give up those memories for the world. So achieving nothing is a goal? |

The Food stamp card can only pay for the UPC code of actual food. The UPC codes are different for different stuff . TANF only lasts for a few years. Theres nothing that states they cannot have some fun with it and feed their children. They are children for crying out loud, What do you expect them to do? Sit on the sidewalk and stare at ants? The cards though are banned though at strip clubs and casinos. That is selfish , wasteful spending for sure. But making a kid happy, I have no problem with that, Sounds like you didnt have a happy childhood OP |

How do you know that the money wasn't child support, or possibly some kind of ssi payment from a deceased parent? I don't know if they would put something like that on a card but you and WAY too many people get so angry over something you perceive to be one way without even knowing the facts. Perhaps the child was even a foster in her care, who knows? I don't, neither do you and frankly, she doesn't have to answer to either of us anyway. Not fair it seems sometimes, but that's the way it is. I'm glad you agree with the philosophy part that make me feel bad for you that you're getting so worked up. Many are and I'm seeing more anger towards everyone these days, not just welfare people. |
