This is just a question....in a case like this, why can't the school send the child home until the parents can make the child comply with the shoe rule? The teacher shouldn't have to spend their time doing this. If a 'normal' child constantly violated a school rule wouldn't they be held accountable? If they have to treat special needs the same, why wouldn't it apply here too? Or is this just one of those pick and chose situations?
