My ex was a dead beat dad and now that my kids are grown he comes around when it suits him.They love him no matter how many times he let them down.Sometimes I think they love him more.I was always there but if they get mad they will tell me off and smile at him.

Hard to tell why she took kids from you. Of course, not all missing fathers are deadbeats. Of course is it possible a lot are?

I'm sure being raised in a strip club or on the corner of 5th and MLK in between mom servicing johns won;t screw the kid up for life or nothing. I mean, the dad did his part. My ex got another woman pregnant when I was serving in Iraq. I guess I should have stayed with him. BTW, I had to enforce child support through court order, because he could not stick to the arrangement we made out of court. Not only that, but he would often bring our child to me when he knew I had plans just so he could go fuck around with bimbos or his new baby mama that he met at the strip club. Smoking burner in the car with the kid riding shotgun in an infant carrier. Fuck yeah, dad of the year.

WE START by monitoring the mothers and make sure they do their part and let dads file grievances and get some of father rights back and or make the mother liable and jail them like they do fathers. Then while the mothers are in jail, will give full custody to fathers who really want to try.

Give or volunteer for after-school programs. Help your neighbors who are single parents. Expose the kids to regular traditions and family life. Support the good working moms so they can support their kids. Encourage moms to live in a decent neighborhood with good neighbors, even if it costs 75% or more of her pay, it will pay off. Exposure is key. But many moms make the mistake of moving to a ghetto to save rent money. Wrong. Pay the rent in the nice area and you will reap golden years.

Your kids are suffering from abandonment issues from their father, that's why they you that way and are all smiles when he's there. They blame you and themselves for his leaving, so when he returns they want to do whatever they can to get him to stay. They will have relationship issues as adults unless they get some help, I promise you this. They will stay in unhealthy or abusive relationships, protecting the abuser at all costs and doing everything to make them stay. It is unhealthy behavior, please get them help. No one got me any help and an ex almost killed me. And I still defended him after that.

Courts are basically no friend of the father....the Constitution guarantees equal "PROTECTION" under the law, so why the fuck does the mother prevail...99.99% of the time...

How does a single 'parent', deadbeat or not, afford child care, nice rent, food, clothes, etc when most probably work low wage/skill jobs whose employers cut back hours because of obamacare... or simply can't find work, or good work, in this economy?

The system is screwed. when you have one parent doing it all. Hell by the time she gets home. Shes to tired to parent. I know I raised 2 on my own with a deadbeat dad. And yes the one thats not around is the hero. Sucks and is a very painful way to live. If the deadbeat parent only knew how bad it hurts the kids. well not sure it would matter. But I think there is s special place in hell reserved for them.

MAKE the person who filed for the divorce legally the caretaker. Including ALL expenses for children.

Still leave the rights of the other parent to see children or even share custody.

That will end women from Divorcing for money. 90% of filed divorces are by women, 70% of women if a marrigae cheat.


Women are out of control and the law is making them untouchable.

Kids suffer.

Many men cant afford the outrageous child support thats ordered and if the dont pay the courts and the ex come after them.Almost always creates a situation where the dad ends up not seeing the child.
All dads should be allowed in their childs life unless they abuse them,etc.

Serious question: then how do we keep marriages intact or should society even mess in people's lives?
