A side of the demand to nationalize the power companies, people also want the gold mine which recently has been found to be nationalized also. There are deposits of 18 000 tones of gold ore with concentration of 445 gr per ton. As estimated in USD there is gold with value of ~793 BILLION USD! Right now the gold mine is owned by Dundee Precious Metals which is a Canadian company. From all the gold that is excavated only 1 PERCENT remains for Bulgaria! [link to www.dundeeprecious.com] |

We got nothing more to lose. ;) |

In 1947 . Bulgaria agreed to pay reparations of $50 million to Greece and $25 million to Yugoslavia. According to the articles of these treaties, the value of US$ was prescribed as 35 US dollars to one troy ounce of pure gold. [link to en.wikipedia.org] I wonder what this is worth today.... |

Right now the protests are peaceful and the city councils and the police are informed that there are going to be protests. People say they give the government 7 days to get rid of the power companies, afterwards if nothing is done protests are going violent against government buildings. The main medias are hiding what is happening right now, but this is one of the peoples main requests. |

Great update OP, thank you. Quoting: insertfunnyusername Privatization cabal has become aggressive and looting lots of countries at the moment. Any plots on the on-camera assassination attempt? Was it a hoax? Yes, the assassination attempt was a hoax created by the same people who were attacked. Even also the gun was a gas pistol, a non lethal one, without a magazine. Damned socialists. They'll fall apart like the rest of Europe. Look, people of Europe, the solution to fascism is not communism. The solution to communism is not fascism. All these Eastern European countries instituted fascism when the wall came down. Now they're suffering the effects of that and are screaming for more communism. How quickly they've forgotten. And how sad that they are not taught the alternative. |

Actually a large part from the Bulgarians want a Balkan union to be made. Sorry for saying this but no one really likes the west or east /usa, eu or russia/ and everyone is fed up with everything that is going on. However, time will show what is going to happen. They got 7 days. |

This could become much bigger... A movement like this might actually wake people up globally to the power that we truly have. Has the government released any statements about it yet? The protests aren't organized by any political party. People are desperate from all the politicians and want to get rid of all of them. In the last 20 years neither the socialists or democrats have worked for the peoples wealth, they only serve to foreign interests. I got to travel northern europe last year, basically from russia down to the UK. My observation, regardless the country, the people are great...... Huge difference in the governments. Conclusion: people are people. Mostly good, decent people. Aside from the criminals and freeloaders, people just want to live their lives. The governments seem to be the main problem Some much worse than others, but still, politicians and money handlers seem to be the problem. We most definitely need more common sense regular folk in politics. |

"Do not overestimate the decency of mankind." Besides, going on a trip to a contry is different from living in it. |
