This is why I'm on GLP - I can never trust my government again after they covered up JFK,Robert Kennedy and MLKs deaths and escalated the war in Vietnam - as a result I am a permanent cynic - this is a disgrace and is relevant as when it happened because it keeps happening.

I lived in Dallas and was only a few miles when this killing occured. I was in middle school and there was mass chaos and unbelief at my school with teachers crying and leaving. One teacher brought in his tv and we all watched walter Kronkite of CBS news cover the story from initial shooting to Parkland Hospital death in the emergency room.
It was Texas law for the coroner to give an autopsy, but the secret service refused and didn't want any accurate autopsy of the cranial and brain dammage. The secret service basically body blocked the coroner and sheriff and demanded they get out of the way. President Kennedy's body was then whisked away to air Force One. It was there that Judge Sarah T. Hughes gave the VP Johnson his oath of office.

Johnson held up the flight under the guise of waiting for the judge. In actuality, he needed to get Jackie away from the casket so that the Secret Service could slip the body out of the casket into a body bag.

Once they had the body out, they were able to pull off a shell game once they landed and purloined the body and have military docs perform a scavenger hunt inside JFK's brain to remove the forensic evidence of the bullet's path prior to the official autopsy.

I was in the eighth grade. We also saw some of Walter Cronkite's coverage. Then we were sent to a PE class, but the teacher was too broken up over the unfolding events to continue. Class was called early, and we were sent to the buses.

BTW, I just gave this thread five stars and a request for a pin. This is a subject that has been disturbing to me for years.

I never could buy into the official report regarding the assassination.

Hence the reason for owning a copy of the Warren Commission Report.

The Bush clan had taken over the CIA and is responsible for the murder of JFK. They made it happen in their own back yard where they could safely plan and execute the dastardly deed.
