I was actually taught some of this in my CCW class.
hesitation can get you killed .
Maybe not as extreme as the pregnant lady threat couple scenario
But the facts are you have to you wrap you mind around you may have to pull the trigger on anyone pointing a gun at you that is a threat its a life or death situation.
One scenario was a young person you have known since birth from the neighborhood, regrettably he/she has grown into a drug addicted teenager and decides to break into you house with a gun intending on robbing you and killing your family.
automatically even though a visible danger The hesitation will comes to the forefront in your mind first because of your past or in other other cases peoples beliefs or perceptions of class or gender.
Same situations with Violent family members.
I am not saying these targets are right I am just saying that police train for unconventional scenarios because they see it all.
