The "light" being the direction we choose to go?
Free will and the collective impact it has on "everything."

Sounds like a metaphor.

Without light there's only darkness, but that's just simple physics.

Is it possible that?:

"You/we" are every player on every stage at every moment. As in the dreams you enter at night, amnesia is the very first action taken as it is essential to be invested in the dream. That may seem terrifying and impossible to comprehend...but when we die we remember, to an extent, and can either meld back into the background or play out our fantasy of the afterlife as our natural state is a creator (think of dreams again). Because we are creators these "fantasies" are just as real as life is today...if not even more so. Though we may have safeguards, angels (ourselves in disguise) sent to keep us on a certain path. All designed as we desired. Hells, nightmares, and wrongs coming upon us when we enter a place of confusion...again because we are curious of their workings. Nothing is off limits to eternity.

I am distracted by the TV when there is good music and bright colors and interesting sets.

Define mind blowing again, say it a different way.

Going up a down aisle tilts the world backwards one quintillionth of a tilt and and when another person does it it is 2 quintillionths of a tilt and when ....
if enough people go up a down aisle they reverse the spin of the earth.
