I sometimes have dreams about donuts. Like full on Homer Simpson type fantasies of stuffing my face with donuts.

I eat donuts like 3 times a year...

Ive never had one with chocolate but would like to try, ours are buttery filo like pastery with thick icing sugar vanilla glaze, thickly sprinkled with fresh ground walnuts. But you cant get then anymore...

In the town where I live, there's a little family owned shop that's been around since before me. They make the best classic plain ever. Little crunch on the outside, soft on the inside...ooh, but then there's the jelly, I think they use potato flakes in the recipe for the raised doughnuts. Aw geez, now I'm seriously craving, and they don't open for another hour...but the doughnuts will still be warm :).
