Although I'm leaning toward clever viral marketing idea, if it is indeed a secret room I wonder if there are keywords or phrases that the front desk listens for when people make their reservations? Perhaps sometimes people use them inadvertently and are given the room until the managers realize it was a mistake? I dunno...just thinking out loud.

Luckily in both cases the room was accidentally given to journalists!

I would have knocked,poked,pulled and lifted every single thing in that room. I bet there's something hidden there.

I doubt it had any number at all to begin with. It is a part of another room, and as you can see in this picture taken by an employee, it looks like it was used for storage prior to its transformation.

Shit is crazy!!

The second image (this is what you see as you walk into the bedroom) has bullet holes in it right next to the lamps in the left corner of the bathroom.

I doubt they are screw holes left as they aren't aligned. I'm thinking a forensic team would have a blast in that room with a couple of UV lights and some lab materials...

Check out the painting of the creepy guy, there is a signature of the artist. Hard to get a read on it, at first I thought it said BennyH, been googling to find more by this artist. When I looked again more closely, looks like it could say BoimyH. When googling that, I found that boimy is a word, stuck it in google translate....it translates as "fear".

You're forgetting the front-desk SAID that room was not supposed to be rented out, the concrete floor, number 322, and a picture of some random old dude looking over everything. A "jail cell" theme has no use for some old guy looking at everyone.

Maybe it is a theme room, but it is themed only for certain handful of clientele.

No, not in the slightest. I think you must have missed the post explaining that conspiracy and the skull & bones vault has been a theme there for years. It isn't some random dude, as he was just convicted and sentenced to 20 years on Friday it's pretty obviously calculated. But alas, you are correct, it was only accidentally given to one journalist that we know of for sure. Although, if this is a marketing scheme then probably two. So while we are trying to not be naive....

I would imagine that he "bought" the room so to speak and decorated it (split it into two?) as he wished. He probably invited his buddies to come and watch the show in the room behind the mirror. All speculation of course.

Has anyone been able to place him at the hotel at any time? Hmmmm
