Fine question...that would clear up whether or not it's a marketing scheme.

He supposedly attended a party/conference in 2006 while the hotel wasn't public.

I couldn't find that one either, but I do have him hosting a Gala called "Bytes & Birdies" at Hotel Zaza in 2009, so we have a link!

So maybe he did commission his own little hidey-hole there before it was open to the public.

All the art in the room is meant to instill uneasiness, fear, paranoia or despair. Heck, the whole room gives off a creepy vibe. Those twins are very MKUltra with their sexual tone and seem to suggest a split personality.

So Masonic imagery, too. I looked on their website and noticed a lot of the upholstery is done is animal print. That's associated with sex-kitten mind control. And as pointed out before, the restaurant is called Monarch. Curiouser and curiouser.

They also have a "conspiracy room" a "phantom ballroom" and a dining room called "ultimate ransom." What a weird place.

That is pretty similar to the piece in the room. I wonder the significance? Someone like Apollo, whatever he's going by today, might have some input.

Either they're going for total shock value, their art was chosen for its symbolism or whoever chose it has zero taste. I looked at some of the reviews of the Houston one and many said that the paintings and photographs on the walls were basically pornographic. Lots of nudity and sexual themes. I saw several times that it is not a place for children at all.

I will have to check this one out.

Its because that photo was taken using panoramic setting. it takes 9 photos and blends them into a huge one so you can view the whole room not just one point of view. im guessing the the right side of the photo was taken seconds before or after the left side.

The Hotel ZAZA is a concept from a business man from OKC. He is a "different" sort of fellow. Kind of a "Flamer" is I were to suspect. He has developed a couple of business parks in OKC. Fun guy to talk too. Always has hot girls around him. Sharp dresser and interesting people around to speak with.

But this is a boutique hotel. A chic place to see and be seen. Things really happens after a Mav's home bb games.

Cool different themed rooms, get the shagadelic room.

If its not your cup of tea, just stay away. High prices usually get rid of the rednecks.

The dragonfly lounge is kind of cool. Looks neat, high end foo foo. Bar full of 40+ martini cougars.

PS Dont pay for drinks with a 100$ and expect change. Waiters and BT disappear.
