I was devastated as a child to see the atrocities that we inflicted on the Native Americans. They treated the land as something they had borrowed from the future... their future children, and treated with respect. we have done nothing but destroy it. And destroyed their culture in process.

I know you all won't want to hear this, but if you want to know the history of the first people on the North American Continent, read the Book of Mormon. Don't talk negative about it until you have read it for yourself as a historical book and you will see how it connects all together. Look closely at the civilization of the people long before the Native Americans.

You will see that it all makes sense. Even when the pilgrims came here and started to settle here, they found mounds and mounds of weapons of war and shallow graves and edifices that proved to them that people have been here for a long time.
