Around Winter of 2002/2003, Hazlewood had teamed up with yet another astronomy "expert" on Planet X by the name of 'Professor' James McCanney. After teaming up with McCanney, Hazlewood then said something really strange. He did a 180 reversal about 'his' prediction concerting the close passage of Planet X. Hazlewood now claimed the date of its passage in 2003 was a scam, the title of his "10 year" researched book notwithstanding!

Hazlewood now was claiming that Nancy of Zeta Talk and the May/June 2003 passage was NASA disinformation and that McCanney had the REAL scoop on Planet X. McCanney seems to feel that the May/June 2003 Planet X setup was a 'cry wolf' scenario to put the public off guard when the REAL danger of planet sized incoming comets and solar flares was the problem we had to worry about. McCanney may have pushed up the passage date for Planet X to another year; I don't know for sure as I haven't read his books, but I have a hunch the the 'story line' is moving in that direction. I've only heard one radio interview so far with him and Hazlewood on a local university FM station in January 2003. McCanney has done a few interview shows with Art Bell and no name since that time. Maybe some of you who are reading this can send me a quick summary of McCanney's position. My gut feeling is that Hazlewood was a minor minion who was used to steer our attention to McCanney. McCanney, in turn, is as much a tool for promoting fear and apprehension as Hazlewood (and Zeta Talk) was. For McCanney, the focus has shifted to giant comets and solar flares, but the bottom line is the same:

Mr. McCanney often calls himself "Professor McCanney" although his own biography only shows that he was an introductory lecturer at Cornell University for 2 years in 1979-80. No where does Mr. McCanney show that he earned the title Professor. He's apparently been working as a Certified Licensed massage therapist! He does not seem to have worked in a scientific or academic capacity since Cornell more than 20 years ago.

McCanney has found the formula for success: rant about evil governments and the evil NASA, give few details on Planet X and claim everyone who doesn't agree with you is a government disinformation agent. This simple formula has worked as people seem to enjoy his silly conspiracy rants so much they don't seem to realize that he gives very little information on Planet X.

His Planet X isn't even a planet, it's a comet! It is nothing like Sitchin's Nibiru although many Sitchin Nibiru supporters haven't noticed this.

In a recent paper, Patrick Cseresnjes, from Paris Observatory, shows for the first time that Sgr-dw is not typical of other satellites of the Milky Way, but reveals instead striking similarities with the Large Magellanic Cloud.

He proposes and argues for the astonishing and original scenario that both systems might share a common progenitor.

As a former small press publisher, I can certainly understand why people want to be reimbursed for their time and effort regarding research for their book, writing their book, and then the up front costs associated with formatting, editing, printing and distributing their books.

Artists sell their work.

Chef's sell their work.

Hair dressers charge for a good hair cut.

Why shouldn't guys like this ask for a little dough for his work? After all -- he is putting out lots of videos and blogs for free. Not a con like Carlton Sheets, who asks you to contribute a couple hundred bucks before you get any info out of him.

I tend to agree. I found McCanney several years ago, listened to some of his radio shows and got interested in what he had to say. I bought several of his books (and yes his website is clunky) and found them fascinating. Then I moved on to Velikovsky and was even more intrigued. Roamed around cataclysmic geology and got more interested.

If you listen to the video linked he said there were reports from sources that this is a small solar system, I didn't hear in the clip he claimed it was a solar system, so I think people are off track on that claim.

As for hard proof, how can anyone without access to the billion dollar space tracking system have hard proof? What James does is present NASA's data from their own instrumentation and then shows the inconsistencies in the data when compared with their own theories.

Sure he sells stuff, and frankly I stopped listening to his radio show since sometimes 1/2 the show is an advertisement for what he sells. But maybe he is just trying to make a buck, can anyone really blame him? Most of the alternative media does the same thing, GLP has advertising, etc.

It is his theories on the plasma discharge model of the sun and comets in general which are the core of his work and debate. Shills and useful idiots point to the items I listed above but I don't seem them providing a good point by point refutation of his theories.

IF we are NOT part of a small galaxy BEING absorbed by the Milky Way Galaxy, how IS IT that we rise above it for 13,000 years, then are pulled DOWN through one of it's arms for another 13,000 years as we ARE NOW ? How IS IT the even the zodiac of the ancients has it so ?

Last but not least, do you get a regular paycheck fro NASA, or only when you post confusing/disinformation on a web site ?

And BTW if you were to actually spend the time listening to what he says, you would note that he originally and repeatedly said 12/21/2012 was a hoax, there is no way to tie the Mayan calendar in with the Gregorian calendar and that Nibiru, Planet-X etc are all disinfo to detract from the real electrical nature of our universe.
