Ya, same conclusion here. Digestion steals energy from our bodies. Especially digestion of wheat and similar products.

Digestion is the main reason we die so soon.

Basically all food is poison. Only difference is some kills you sooner some later.

No wonder all spiritual paths ask us to stop eating, start fasting. Even Jesus fasted for 40 days and Satan showed up. Only then Jesus saw through his tricks.

I agree that many foods that are thought to be good for you are in fact problematic to our health. There is, now in progress, a real multifaceted awakening going on and one major area is health and nutrition. One of the first areas at youngevity is educating our clients about the truth regarding correct food choices. We have to clean up the diet in order for our therapeutics to be absorbed correctly as well as provide the raw materials for the body to heal itself. We strive to give the body all that it needs and move away the obstacles that keep the body from absorbing nutrients.

the biggest lie about nutrition is that ingesting matter "nourishes" the body somehow and gives it "energy". What a joke...

This has always been just a stupid theory. It is built upon some molecular biology assumptions which lies upon the even shakier assumptions of particle physics. Nobody has ever proven that we actually break down and absorb food and it leads to some beneficial effect on the body.

Actually the truth is that food hijacks the body's energy reserves for processing / elimination , and that produces a sedative effect on us, which feels good / relieving like any psychotropic drug would. We are all basically drug addicits. Food is just another category of drugs. They come in all sizes and colors with varying strengths. That's basically the conclusion I came after several years studying the effects of food on my body. Nobody has ever got a single ounce of energy from eating solid food.

This is how I have been eating for years and have no problem keeping my weight where it should be...
My friends constantly criticize me when out for a meal as I devour a huge steak, salad and roasted veggies while they nibble on salads with no protein and fat free dressing.. Morons!

While food will wreak havoc on your body, it isn't the killing blow. The killing blow is loss of sexual energy. This is what kills your health and causes aging. Food won't kill you if you are not losing sexual energy, but it could make you feel like shit all the time and cause all sorts of common illnesses. And of course, too much food in the stomach invariably leads to the sex urge, which leads to loss. One thing leads to the other.

and then there is also the "problem" of sleep. Sleep is basically death. Notice that when you oversleep you actually wake up more tired than before. It's also during sleep that many diseases develop; however sleep is also very necessary for life. That's all I'm gonna say about it.

Guys

I've been using this as the basis of my diet for the last 6 years, together with some nutritional supplements to keep it of.

My daily diet is, 3 eggs scrambled in butter, 3 rashers of bacon, 3 old fashion sausages, baked beans.

Lunch - home made soup

Dinner, last night - whole chicken loads of veggies no potatoes.

Supper, stilton cheese and half a bottle of red

Cholestoral - NORMAL = used to be high
BP normal = used to be or pills
Diabetes 2 - medication halved and with the help of my supplements intend to reverse

My wife and I have been eating Paleo/Primal since July last year. She has lost 14kgs now and I've lost about 8kg, but I'm not trying to lose weight - just fat.

We cut out sugar, processed foods (except proper bacon and ham), grains, and most diary (except butter and cheese).

We look great, feel great and people still look at you weird when you don't touch the bread in a restaurant but then demolish huge steaks and veggies with lots of butter/olive oil, etc. They may be surprised we're not fat, but we're not surprised that they are! ;)

I must admit that I am still in the frame of mind where I eat every 2-3 hours "because my body needs it", bla bla bla, but I am an amateur bodybuilder and that's pretty much the mindset. But; I will be trying Intermittent Fasting from next week, so hopefully that will also help with results in both fat loss and muscle gain. It's good to play with eating habits and see what works for you! If I don't like it, I'll go back to 6/7 meals a day...

I really do recommend going primal. For those carb-lovers, you can still eat sweet potatoes, fruit, regular potatoes and some rice too, but when you can literally smash coconut milk, butter, cheese, juicy steaks, eggs, sausages, bacon, etc., and not have to worry about your health, you really wont crave them!

I'm having chilli for dinner tonight. The only difference is instead of a pile of rice, I'll have extra cheese and some home-made guacamole - and I'll still look leaner in the morning!

Sorry for the late reply. This is an EXCELLENT thread. I am on the Paleo Diet. I have lost 20 lbs in about 2 months, and all I eat now is high protein/low carb/organic(if possible) Basically what you can hunt or gather. I eat organic meat, poultry, seafood, eggs, nuts, fruits, vegetables, and filtered water (from a Big Berkey Water Filter), stay away from processed crap at the store!

I go walking for 30+ mins per day, do a few reps with weights 2 times a day, and sittups twice a day, when it warms up i will go bike riding daily.

also drink organic veggie juice with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. (tastes like a V8 with a lil' kick!)

the weight seems to keep on flying off, and I am full of energy now!

This is a perfect "diet"

It is not really a diet...it is more of a lifestyle change.

If anyone else wants to lose weight, this will help GUARANTEED!
