Thread: The war on men

This thread was about the hate filled threads posted regularly on glp. It was how this hatred and anger was seen in overt displays of violence by men against women in society.
Women are not posting many threads saying that men are evil. Women are not getting together in gangs and raping men, and ripping out their intestines, etc.
There is no 'war on men' happening here at glp. There is a 'war on women' happening here through these numerous women-bashing threads.

This thread was not about general frustrating issues between the sexes.

And this thread about misandry just details what has been happening to women, people of colour, people of different religions etc, forever. Men are just now starting to get a taste of what it is like to be 'other'. And of course they don't like it. But women have been experiencing it forever.

The way out of this mess is through being vulnerable to reveal feelings in a non threatening way, trust and active listening. All people need to work on themselves first and foremost. Only then can an honest and open dialogue, without name calling and without bullying, happen.

Many divorced guys who were of the nice variety finally had the rose colored glasses YANKED off them when they were going through their respective divorces ... and once the "TRUTH" is finally known it can never be forgotten.

The current statistics are 70% of all married women HAVE ALREADY HAD AN AFFAIR ... so if one excludes the newly weds, the much older generation and the uglies the odds say that MOST average to above average women have ALREADY slept around on their husbands (probably 90% to 95%). It is just the way the female brain is wired. She wants her man to be faithful, but SHE is not faithful.

Another interesting statistic, one from the NIH from a study in the late 90's is that if a woman has had 5 sex partners prior to her husband the odds her marriage lasting more than 10 years is only 30%. (the majority of women today in their early 20's?). By 15 sex partners ... it has dropped precipitously from those already low levels.

The younger generation of males (those under 35) are wising up FAST that marriage is a one way street, GREAT for the woman but an almost guaranteed losing proposition for the male, particularly if you are a male who is on the ball, going to be or already are successful, and are a nice person. When the now almost inevitable divorce comes (divorce rates are climbing for the younger set even as they delay marriage further and further out), the male is going to be on the recieving end of a focking the likes of which is little understood until you have been through it.

OH ... and the "double standard" when it comes to everything about relationships is still alive and well: She hits the male and causes him injury ... police say too bad, get back to life. He hits her and doesn't even cause injury ... police haul the guys ass to jail; She won't pay child support ... oh well. He won't pay child support ... lose all licenses and off to jail; She won't let him see the kids as required by the Court Order ... oh well. He won't let her see the kids as required by the Court Order ... he is off to jail; the list goes on and on ... but once the marriage contract is signed these days the guy is screwed for L-I-F-E (and this doesn't even get into the money side of a relationship or marriage).

There ARE some good women out there ... but good luck finding them! (by my estimation they make up less than 10% of the universe ... and since they ARE good women they are NOT available since they almost always already have a solid partner).

Being older I am no longer amazed but am now just amused as I listen to women I know PROUDLY talk about THEIR affair(s) (usually multiple) and how they "took their ex to the cleaners" ... and then in the next paragraph say that they just can't understand why they "can't find a man who wants to commit anymore".

My rose colored glasses are gone ... now I just find women amusing.

Don't orget to stop the lying to police to get what you want ... civility is lacking due to what cause? You call it war on women - I call it a BACLASH on women. Men who fall victim are double-victimized when a woman chooses to be uncivil and take the high road instead. Apparently that is asking too much, and so resort to laws designed to make it easy to destroy. The choice rests with the one who lies and attacks, thus using the shield of the law as a sword to inflict damage upon men.

Men are not into destroying a womans life. Men would rather be civil and walk away. You make it seem all men are violent - which shows your misandryous attitude that men need to change.

Women need to stop the men bashing and fase up to what they are doing with abusing the laws. Now where there is true evil, that has merit. But in 90+% of cases, women are the attacker in divorce hearings and end a mans life. So the kids suffer and you place yourself over them by doing so.

Women need to stop the 'If I don't like what you are saying or doing I will lie to cops to get you out of my life while ending your life/career/work/savings'.

Until you have a long talk with the ones who deserve this backlash - the feminists - the war on men will continue, or the USA falls apart, whichever comes first.

I think a lot of the "women hating" men are those who have been hurt by getting into a relationship with a "toxic woman" and aren't really able to trust any woman at this time. The same happens with some women who get involved with a "toxic man". These "Toxic" people are poison to get involved with.

EXACTLY! A bad person is a bad person. Statistics show women violence has increased dramatically in the last 20 years and it is getting worse. Double-standards destroy and that is what our system has provided for, while intending to provide a useful tool.

Like any tool, say a hammer, it can be used to build - or destroy. It is the individual who chooses what to do with it. What you describe as 'toxic' is so common when two are just not meant to be together. Thats where the problems start, and as posted earlier in this thread by a bankruptcy attorney, whoever files for divorce first wins it all. Divorce attorny's even tell their clients to get an injunction to maintain their posessions in the home, though it also allows in effect, the entire home to be put on wheels and carted away. All up to the person with the injunction. So add in a toxic attitude of destruction and there goes your whole lifes work.

The tools for destruction are so easy to obtain, and many who have never heard of or experienced someone who was a victim of a attacker has no effing clue. Most often those types further the ostracizing, and both genders are guilty of that.

Women need to stop this 'always-a-victim' attitude and have some class and 'be better than that' toxic label. They got that attitude from feminists and it is absolutely destroying the USA and families and causing many fatherless homes, andthe accompnying childhood problems. All thats needed is to have the balls to lie on a free DVI. Doesn't matter if it is not true. That is the backlash women deserve - they file 90+% of them. In the govt stats it even says men are less likely to file due to the negative image it projects. So there you have it.
