aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa User ID: 34748812 Croatia 02/19/2013 09:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | On September 26th, 1983 a Soviet officer, Stanislav Petrov, was on duty at the Serpukhov -15 command post in the Moscow Region. His screens showed that 5 missiles with nuclear warheads on board were launched towards the former USSR from the USA. In compliance with the instructions Petrov had, he should have retaliated against the enemy for firing missiles. However, the officer came to the conclusion (which proved right as it became known later) that it was a false alarm, that is, the result of a technical failure. [link to english.ruvr.ru] Handle |

Quoting: GirlzDad It seems to me the Obamination is willing to let the United States become the weakling of the world. First, military spending cuts and then he is systematically taking our guns away. Other nations are going to take notice (as they already have) and come over to conquer a disarmed nation. Beware, friends. It is coming! [link to rt.com] Russia and china is more superior already. |

Russians are going to keep flying their bombers> Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1546575 I am not saying that intercepting them is weak. What I am saying is that more and more countries are going to notice our vulnerabilities due to the downsizing of our forces and therefore attempt to take the chance to send forces our way. |

You could make a strong argument that if things continue to move the way they are, that they COULD eventually become superior to our military. if both countries go nukes all out both will be turned into ash, russia and china have ten times enough nukes so do USA.will be quite a fuck up though. |
