Seems like a trend to me . . . two of the most important satellites to be launched to study global warming gases and aerosols failed to launch . . . three times the failure rates of all other satellites . . .

Climate Satellite Launch failures represent 18% or 2/11 of Total failures . . . normal failure rate for all satellites was 11/209 or 5.3% . . .

Failure #2: On 4 March 2011, the Aerosol Polarimetry Sensor (APS) was lost as a consequence of the failed launch of the Glory Mission. On 6 March 2011, Dr. Michael Freilich, Director of the Earth Science Division, Science Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters, directed the Glory APS Science Team to perform a comprehensive study intended to develop and evaluate the science rationale for an APS reflight. Orbital Sciences Corp., however, doesn’t seem to have learned the lesson. Owner and operator of the Taurus XL rocket, Orbital Sciences initially determined that the fairing’s failure to separate was due to a malfunctioning pressurized hot gas system and therefore switched to a cold gas separation system that has been successful on its Minotaur rocket. However, on March 4, 2011, NASA’s Glory satellite, designed to investigate the impact of atmospheric aerosols and solar variations on Earth’s climate, was destroyed after, once again, its Taurus XL fairing failed to separate. The combined cost of the lost OCO and Glory missions is $697.

Until February 2012, NASA had continued to plan on a Taurus XL launch for OCO-2. However, Orbital Sciences’ inability to establish a reason for the separation failures finally proved to be a deal breaker. “We don’t have a root cause, so we just felt it was too high-risk to continue,” said Jim Norman, NASA’s director of launch services. A new contract request has been issued for the OCO-2 launch which will now be delayed until at least 2014. “There will be an impact to the original OCO-2 launch-readiness date of February 2013,” NASA reported in a press release. “However, we do not yet know how severe the impact will be.”

I think it means a lot.

First law of statistics, coincidences happen.

How many failures of probes sent to the Moon were there? Lots.

How many failures of probes sent to Mars were there? Lots.

Consider the three sister ships, Titanic, Britannic, and Olympic.

There was a woman onboard the Olympic when it was involved in an accident with the HMS Hawk. She survived.

She was onboard the Titanic when it sank. She survived.

That same person was onboard the Britannic when it sank. Again she survived.

Her name was Viloet Jessop. She died in 1971 age 84.

Coincidences happen.

All coincidences are coincidences until a pattern or motive is discovered . . .

But not something of this importance. So it is fishier due to the importance of it. Much fishier and more likely to have been done on purpose. I would hire a new company and make their pay dependent on it working.

Unless she had a death wish she had no motive . . . Simple . . . and no a coincidence does not a motive make but one is foolish not to ask questions when coincidences occur, especially where suspected groups are involved . . .

I think NASA finally did after they lost over $697 Million on two successive failures . . .

Do you think they were paid to fail?

I felt there was a small possibility of sabotage . . . the satellites might have made it impossible to hide the existence of an Intentional Covert Stratospheric Aerosol Injection Program . . . The data from these satellites would have possibly made the scientists unable to ignore the possibility because they would have ID'ed and quantified the aerosols' sources . . .

Thanks for the info. I have to make an effort to see the sky at this time, my back yard is like a forest with gorgeous azaleas blooming below it. I am mostly not able to see the sky and it's good because I get the impression there are no chemtrails which is not true but it makes me feel better.
