I was born and raised in South central L.A. It is very common. shootings and death all around every day, every night. It never ends.

AGREE. I was born and raised in Orange County since 1984 and the majority of OC (at least nowadays) are similar to L.A and lower income (I.E, Anaheim, Santa Ana, etc). The ritzy neighborhoods are along the beaches (Laguna, Huntington, etc). "The OC" tv show is not a very accurate portrait of the general populace of OC.

I live very close to the home of ali syed. I drove through the neighborhood this morning. The neighborhood is known as a business enclave. Many of the homes in the neighborhood have a business attached to their home and display it on the front of their properties next to the address. There home and no business name on it so not sure if they ran a business from their home. I saw no police officers or cars except one unmarked crown royal. No police or caution tape around the house and a newspaper was still on the driveway that looked like it had been there quite awhile... Strange!
