Message Subject Next Generation Xbox requires the Kinect in order to work, camera must be plugged in while you play games, watch videos, etc

If this is true, which I doubt, it is purely because the Kinect sucks donkey balls and Microsoft wants to try and squeeze as much as they can out of their failure.
