Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory, perception and sanity.[1] Instances may range simply from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim. Which is more realistic? Seeing aliens or having a trick pulled on you. Time travelling or having a drug slipped into your drink. Being abused by a demon or a pedo in a demon costume? I could go on and on. I have seen so many people with perfectly plausible experiences,but they always seem to jump off the deep end at some point on something similar to the above and I just have to walk away because there is no urge to try to reason with someone that thinks they are a time traveler pursued by demons. That would be like trying to convince a christian that there is no god.
