What's going on with GLPers? Stay postive and stop the arguing

welcome to GLP. You're obviously new here.

Been here since Nov last year. So, sort
of new. I try to ignore the bickering. However, lately I see people quitting and threads posted about how awful people are.

I find the rudeness, ignorance and blatant hatred on this website draining. It's too bad that informative threads are often ruined by this kind of behavior. There's a lot of good information here, I just hate having to sift through oral diarrhea to find it.

Well, I'm thinking what can we do to make it positive and better experience for everyone to share thier news and information? Maybe Trinity can help?

Better moderation of threads. At the other website we're not allowed to mention defamitory or off topic posts are removed by moderators. I think there's only so much you can do with moderation of threads though...it's hard to change the mind set of the people who consistently choose to spew hate.

Well maybe guidelines I think what people call hate? For instance we are not all the same religion so I can avoid going on sites that would offend me... people still have the right to speak what they want to say. Those going on those threads, if they want to add a post - should do so respectful manner as much as possible
