Quoting: An Ordinary Greek 35126030 Wait till tomorrow for the final and official results. I bet Lombardy is going to be crucial. It is, if northern league wins there...there will be 2 Italy soon (all northern regions already in their hands) Glad to see, if true, Goldman' Monti under 10% coalition recognition... |

First there will be a little civil war in the NORTH, just sayn'. One Italy, One State. P.S In Lombardia now there is a 50-50 situation now, it seems a footbal match. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 35132853 Portugal 02/25/2013 09:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rome, Italy —The first wave of election polls are out, and the good news for international markets is that it looks like center-leftists Pier Luigi Bersani is going to win. But here's a stunning number. Check out the collapse in support for Mario Monti, the technocrat, Brussels-approved Prime Minister who came in in late 2011 to help calm markets and pass reform. This is a huge rejection of his austerity and Brussels. He's getting totally demolished. And if his support is too low, he might not enter government at all, potentially throwing everything into chaos. [link to www.businessinsider.com] |

Or can the northern/center regions just say to the government fark you, we're separating?? |

For them from Rome and below it's "Ethiopia". Quoting: An Ordinary Greek 35126030 Ever been to Italy? It is. That is like saying that any town in Canada that is 100 km out of the major cities (Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, ect..) is a 3rd world welfare town. While Rome and below is not as economically efficient as the North, the South is plagued with corrpution and mafia that has beeb left untouched since the unification of Italy. If there was even an ounce of strength to fix the southern economy, you would see significant change...instead, the Italian government and businesmen are preoccupied trying to earn a dishonest dime. |

A referendum...uhm, the outcome is unpredictable Maybe wont win Lombardy, will see |

What is an instant poll? Not familiar with the term. Last Edited by Recollector on 02/25/2013 10:13 AM |

Southern Italy are half africans. Thats why it's called Ethopia. I would argue that they have more of a Middle Eastern genetic influence. But regardless of that, what does genetic influence have to do with anything? One could argue that the Northern parts of Italy are a bastardiztion of Austian, Hungarian, French, Barbarian, and what flowed through the venetian and genovian ports. It is the 21st century...time to stop riding the racisim wagon to justify your own weaknesses. |
