A guest said "Oh this is extreme, but will cause people to talk about the white privilege issue". I think it's adding a lot of fuel to the fire that we already have. What Tim Wise is doing is good. If people dont understand white privelage, they will continue to blame blacks, latinos, and asians, for americas problems, Here are the common excuses today Welfare- Blame Blacks and latinos Immigration- Blame blacks and latinos Bad economy- Blame obama, black and latnos What happen to all the white people on welfare or the white immigrants from europe, or the white people who robbed billions from people in ponzi schemes destroying lives. Do you see where this is going..... This is how people think without wondering how they got to where they are or why arent they demonized as hard. Its because of Privelage. I think when someone tries to explain an a rational manner that is good, to help make proper changes in our system. I understand that. I'm hard of hearing and work at a deaf agency... I communicate in sign language and can hear but I use lip reading to help me understand. A lot of people don't understand how to communciate with deaf and hard of hearing, so they avoid them. I attend many disabled trainings about fairness, sensitivty. I also educate the public about deaf and hoh issues. What I dislike, is this video with the all these words on their faces. I think promoting this will anger many white people. We don't need more anger in the US or racial isses added. The only ones who see the video as division is white nationalist. What promoting it will do is bring to light the many privelages whites benefit from. here is an example. blacks do Weed, crack, heroin, alcohol. Whites do Weed, Crack, coke, Prescription Pill abuse, ketamine, shrooms, heroin, Alcohol abuse etc. It is fact that you can go into any white neighborhood and be offered almost every drug known to mankind. however, even though whites use and sell more drugs than blacks, Blacks are hounded demonized and preyed upon by the law, while whites are given a free pass, yea theyll lock up a whiteboy every know and then but its not methodical, or systematic. The reason for this alot of these white cops have children that are drug addicts and dope dealers and do not want to bust their own children. Another thing is Whites are connected and can have an officer fired or department sued for arresting their children. THIS IS FACT!!!!!!!!!
