They are ruled because they don't want to have the responsibility of self rule. They are lied to because they have no love of truth. i think the real danger is that change
is coming - someone is very busy getting it into the heads of the masses that they are being had. Even the likes of Fox news puts guys out there like Napolitano who are gradually getting the word out that the system is rotten.
The problem is that people will be motivated to change - but because its for the wrong reason, they will be just as easily herded into the solution already planned for them long in advance.
I say its the wrong reason, because its not motivated by love of truth, but anger over being screwed. And that motive does not carry the integrity to see it through to a good solution - but rather a reactionary result, such as was produced by communist revolution.
I expect there to be a feigned collapse of the powers that be followed by a world-wide 'brotherhood' that will be worse than anything we have seen.
When you have a system managed by lies , corruption , hatred, for its precious resources,
this system is going to fail.
The interesting thing is
Who will suffer the most from the failure?
My vote is for those at the top
they have the most to lose
because, like all the kingdoms of old
they will lose their place and forfeit for the rule of another
