I worked for FDA for a while. The time and money wasted was ENORMOUS. And that was just in the office...they had what they called flex-time..you got to work up to 40% of your time FROM HOME!

When City Hall wants a new millage they always trot the teachers out. When they want a new sales tax they trot the police out. Like pawns.

"These people are going to lose their jobs!"

The Mayor could cut a hundred other things. But they don't want to cut. They want new revenue. So they hold a knife to the throat of the police and teachers...."Vote for taxes or we slice 'em!!!".

The police and teachers line right up to have their jobs threatened....and clap for the knife-wielder.

Same thing here at the Federal level.

"You want cuts? Weeeellllll.....we're gonna cut kids and old ladies and cops and teachers and soldiers!!!! How ya' like them cuts?"

Meanwhile the free phones and condoms and "Five second rule" studies and subsidies and all that aren't threatened.

Line up police and teachers....and clap for it.

No more private bankers.

I hope they do it---- it needs to be done.

They need to marginalize the Pentagon and make it go away.

Then, they'll offer jobs to those willing to work for the Obama defense force. They'll ask them to sign their allegiance to the new civilian defense force and even give those with special skills positions in the ultra secret and powerful division known as the SS.

What is wrong with working from home especially if you are getting work done and can show it? I would think it would be a good cost cutting measure especially since so much work is done by computer and that can be done anywhere. Plus, you are 60% in the home office still.

i found it on breitbart, i can't bring myself to watch mainstream news anymore. I am so sick of them covering and placing blame for everything away from where it belongs on top of obama.

What it will all boil down to is this: the working class will take up the ass. Again.

they are only talking about 87 billion dollars of cuts, we sent 50 billion to sandy victims and that did not break the bank did it?

we spend 10 billion dollars a day so this adds up to 8 days of spending and we can't afford it???

this is just another obama made crisis for him to score against the republicans.

First the 'fiscal cliff', now the 'sequester'...yawn.

Not to worry, they will dot an 'i', cross a 't' and add a comma. A last minute deal involving a $10 billion tax increase and promises of future spending cuts will once again save the day!

They will not be losing their jobs. I have a family member who works for the gubmint- they will be working only 4 days a week, not 5. And paid for only 4, not 5. And the total savings is less than the $50 billion they just gave to the Sandy Storm victims. Which, by the way, makes me wonder why ANYONE has insurance, or why insurance companies even exist.
Like most things here in Merika- it's a flipping joke.
