The programming(brainwashing) runs oh so deep with most. Waking up, well at least for me, has been, and continues to be, a long, unpleasant process. As for those with heads in sand and eyes closed, I have little hope. Imagine someone being, oh, 60yrs. old. Some "person" half their age tries to tell them lies and propaganda on TV are rampant in this country. They have only a few possible ways to process the information they have just received. Most likely would be, say, "that person is not well in the head." Another response would be, say, "My, what a gross exaggeration, not this country." And here is, in my opinion, the kicker: "If what they say is true, than I must be a fool to not, as yet, have seen it." Few people want to even consider themselves ignorant, much less blind. As one GLP poster stated, ask them what they think. Keep them away from a defensive posture. Then gently, in a round-about way, show them where they may find water. I suck at trying to wake others up. I need to employ subtle methods, but don't like beating around the bush. PEACE

Just because something like 9/11 is "common knowlege" in your comfy little circle doesn't mean it is main-stream. Normalcy bias is the most incredible hurdle mankind has or will ever face... most haven't even begun to tackle that obstacle, and the majority who haven't started yet will never get past it to even face the truth, let alone accept it.

It is an inherent function of humanity that most people don't actually want more than a milk-toast sample of reality. These are the folks who prefer comfortable lies over the unconfortable truth...every time; and they *are* the majority. That's why DEMONOCRACY fails every time; because the majority would rather have tyranny than truth.

If it wasn't a statistical absolute that the majority will choose the comfortable lie every time, then we wouldn't have the political and social climates that prevail in the world, throughout every age of history. Ask Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc... people love the comfortable lie - they will kill and/or die for it over and over, as history proves so clearly.

The art of tyranny consists of nothing more than forcing a hegelian choice between two absolutes, where on of those absolutes is the unbuffered truth... people will always choose against the truth, and thus can be manipulated to accept and do *anything*, under the laws of the dialectic logic employed.

The only way to break the sinful cycle of dialectic logic is to take yourself out of the center, to cease being the focal point of every choice you make...that is, to repent, and put God back in the center.

One thing I have noticed. Fatman Jones has a vibratory voice that scars people off instantly. I see people get a systemic response to seeing and hearing him so he does the opposite of waking people up. Middle class people and above anyway. People tell me that he gives off a very, very bad vibe and immediately do not trust him. Many of them having never heard of him either. I actually believe he and others are placed there as scarecrows, warding off anyone that still has money. They are seen as clowns, amusement pieces much like the Ancient aliens guy with that weird hairdo, or David dIcke. They're intentional freak scarecrows funded by seedy agencies in my opinion.

I don't agree - I think that those over 50 are very easy to convince because this America is SOOO different than the America that we grew up in. Something is just wrong and we can feel it.

Fatman Jones may not have a soothing, comforting radio voice. I'm glad he doesn't. He may have a hidden agenda or at least be used to spread falsehoods. We may never now. But, as far as these middle aged yuppies, many only see what they want. They usually have well-paying jobs and large investment portfolios. To them, IMHO, they discard any information that may indicate an end to the "happy days." I think they can be some of the most disconnected. "The market always goes up in the long term." Additionally, many come off to me a very self serving, and just want their illusion to continue.

Well I do not think this means she is waking up...this is just plain in your face. BUT it is not just OBAMA it is tptb and THAT is what folks need to wake up to.

I don't agree. I hang around with people in the middle to upper middle class (and a few that I would say are upper class). I think that most have heard of him and some do listen to him regularly. I think that those who don't like him, don't like him because they don't understand the Texan thing. I have lived all over the US and many people just do not *get* Texans, and ascribe the worst suspicions to just a very honest and open personality type.

Seen a 80 year old lady in walmart the other day reading labels on food products. I said are you looking to make sure that it contains no GMO's? She said yes. cool!

Are you ascribing to it being a Texas thing? I work in govt with LEO and none listen to him, very few have heard of him in NC, GA, NY. In fact most govt employees as well upper class people I know rarely watch TV, or listen to internet radio. People have to be seeking info out to come across him. I have met one govt employee in investigation that listens to him and is scared shitless of anyone finding out. He's a cool guy, ex special ops, etc. But that is it. They all watch the stock market though, due to our entitlements.

You are right about the upper classes not watching TV. That is just a big time waster. The people I know get their news from the WSJ and on the internet. Drudge is their homepage and they first noticed PP as a link there several years ago and now they follow the story links. They knew who he was before Piers Morgan. Most don't listen to internet radio, but they do watch/listen to selected youtube segments. They do not discuss what they hear with outsiders, but it is duly noted.
