What Do You Consider To Be Most Valuable (Water, Gold, Diamonds, Food, etc) | |
Dr. Acula (OP) Senior Forum Moderator User ID: 90675 United States 02/20/2013 02:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Water is my pick... We can live without the others... Eventually we will need food... but we can survive for quite a while without food... But if we dont have water... we would die within a week... to me water is the most valuable because of the sheer "Can't live without it" aspect _______________________ |

But if we dont have water... we would die within a week... to me water is the most valuable because of the sheer "Can't live without it" aspect Water is my pick, too. Seems like the new "water barons" feel the same way: "the Wall Street banks and elitist multibillionaires — are buying up water all over the world at unprecedented pace." [link to climatesoscanada.org] However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24 "This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:7 |

Dr. Acula (OP) Senior Forum Moderator User ID: 90675 United States 02/20/2013 03:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I vote gold because you ask what is most valuable. Right now its gold, now if something happens that changes the current situation I would change my answer. I think your question is too broad and needs some defining. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34356336 Well... I didnt ask what the markets are showing for most valuable. If you wanna get technical... Here is 9 substances more valuable than gold. *Cocaine *Heroin *Platinum *Rhodium *Plutonium *Diamonds *LSD *Hafnium and Tantalum Isomers *Anti-Matter Cost [link to www.businessinsider.com] I asked: I am asking you. You did answer Gold. cool deal :) I wont judge you for your answer thanks for voting and commenting But i want it to be clear im not asking about the markets... im wanting to know of the above listed items/substances/objects (in the poll) what is more valuable to you. We all encounter the items listed (in the poll) in one form or another on a daily basis. That is why i listed those items and not the 9 'more valuable than gold' Last Edited by Dr. Acula on 02/20/2013 03:30 PM _______________________ |

But if we dont have water... we would die within a week... to me water is the most valuable because of the sheer "Can't live without it" aspect Water is my pick, too. Seems like the new "water barons" feel the same way: "the Wall Street banks and elitist multibillionaires — are buying up water all over the world at unprecedented pace." [link to climatesoscanada.org] see thats one of my theories... Water is the most valuable thing on earth... simply because we will die without... but while we are distracted by gold and stuff... "They" are taking control of the water... and most of "us" are in the dark about... because we're too fixed on rocks and shiny metals. They can control "us" by controlling the most valuable substance on earth... and we just whistled right along while they took it. _______________________ |

Having the knowledge to survive and grow your own food is only going to get you 3 days without water. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... Quoting: Dr. Acula This isnt a Data Mine attempt If you are that paranoid dont vote What do you consider valuable? Is it Gold? Is it Silver? Is it water? Is it food? Is it a set of skills/knowledge? Is it rare gems? Is it "Paper Money"? Is it Oil? So what in your mind is the most valuable of these? I really can't imagine someone choosing something above water... Without water -> Not able to sustain your body there for it's not possible to experience anything else. A bit of a pointless Poll if you ask me :P |

Only the people who are stupid enough to live in the desert might need some sort of skill set. But here in The Netherlands, finding water does NOT require any skill set :P |

Was being a bit sarcastic haha. It's a nice poll, but if you peel the onion you will always come to water. Because without water you can not sustain your body and there for you can not experience the things we find "more valuable" to day. But since we (almost) all got water.. My most valuable thing at the moment would be knowledge.. I believe that when the time has come to die, knowledge will come in handy, cars, gold, money.. not so much :) |
