Employees walk through to secure areas without being checked. I'm talking about baggage handlers, cleaners, kitchen workers, maintenance, etc. How well are their background checks, and how easy would it be for them to take a bribe from terrorists? I hope to God nothing happens, but I'm surprised it hasn't yet. In Chicago, employees drive their vehicles INTO the "secure" area...a parking lot, then take a shuttle bus to the terminals. I also had a few bad experiences in Indianapolis. Those are the type of people you put in authority and they think they're God. Never had a problem anywhere else, but I hate going through security. She questioned me on my passport and was verbally abusive. She was a black woman and I will never forget the hate in her voice. |
