I feel this is a legit threat to our current way of life. Many people are completely dependent on the electrical grid. Technology is great and we can do some amazing things with it...but when we do not integrate with nature we could possibly leave ourselves vulnerable to a disaster if such an event were to occur. (which it will some time)
