This did almost physically hurt me.

Words fail me. We all of us are responsible for this and all the other pain and suffering we cause on this planet. TPTB are just a reflection of us without us they could not do shit. Every day we have choices, every day we can think about what we do what we buy etc. every day depending on the choices we make we either inflict more pain or suffering or help alleviate itj just a bit.

We are too selfish, too me me , to change. We blame others but they did not force us to buy the shit we buy. They did not force us to add to the pain.

Why are some of the birds doing well, flying around by the hundreds of thousands, etc, but other are dying, even before they leave the nest?

This problem has been around for many decades, but the birds seem to be thriving, overall.

Sad, yes, but why are some birds stuffed with plastic garbage while others are doing seemingly fine?

that is a waste of life. i wonder what the chain effect will be.

maybe some have the genetics to avoid eating the garbage. a bit of a natural slection occuring.

these gulls will evolve some gastric acid which will help bio degrade the plastic in side them, so dont worry it all fixes it self in the end.:)

I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure.

When I go to the grocery store, I take my own bags. Got tired of them asking "paper or plastic?" - one's just as bad as the other. Plastic pollutes for what, 10,000 years???? and paper kills trees (where our oxygen comes from).

I don't think this earth can be fixed at this point. It's all about money for big corporations, and it's all about convenience for this "throw-away" society.

I can't tell you how awful I feel at this point !!!

My tears won't fix the problem. I can only do my part in my own personal little world, which doesn't amount to much and will never alter the trend.

And someone was saying god was UNFAIR yesterday in promising to destroy those who destroy the eart.

If you can watch this film and NOT grieve..you are on that hitlist..for you feel nothing..and are quite happy to sit back and let the destroyers do their work..or join in and toss a plastic bottle into the ocean and not give a rats.
