So, if your care becomes costly for the insurer and you didn’t mention you had a rash on your arm when you were 15, that’ll work. How can you prove if leaving this out was intentional or not? It’s them against you.

Obamacare hasn't even started yet. They don't start guarantee issuing everyone until 2014. I should know, I'm an individual medical underwriter at a large health insurance company. I deny people on a daily basis still for pre-existing conditions. I have less than a year left at my job because of obamacare. Then my whole career field will no longer exist. Not that I care, I hate my job. I'm assuming the kid was denied Medicaid or other high risk pool state programs. Because we aren't allowed to deny children under 19 for individual private insurance anymore.

Obama Admin Targets Down Syndrome Babies Under Obamacare

Discussions of HHS’s new regulation have focused on the required availability of free contraceptive services under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). The regulation is the result of HHS’s adopting, in its entirety, the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) report on Clinical Preventive Services for Women. Buried in the IOM report is the recommendation for no-cost well-woman visits; these visits include prenatal care–and thus prenatal testing for “genetic or developmental conditions.” The regulation was issued as part of the PPACA’s coverage of preventive services. This prompts the question, how does prenatal testing prevent Down syndrome?

The targeted elimination of people with Down syndrome is, in fact, the goal of other countries that have adopted nationwide prenatal testing programs–a goal some other countries are now realizing. Indeed, according to the Copenhagen Post, Denmark “could be a country without a single citizen with Down’s syndrome in the not too distant future,” due to its nationwide prenatal screening program, in place since 2004.

Don't worry, you can find a job as a doctor, all the real doctors are leaving, so there will be openings to fill their gap, no medical degree required, all you have to do is gauge whether the person can be made sicker than they already are, then you prescribe them toxic medication as directed by your government issued laptop. Apparently, you are not keeping up with the news as obamacare has indeed forced private insurance companies to accept pre-existing conditions yet obamacare is falling way short of what he foisted upon private insurance companies.

It didnt yet, PCIP started this past year in order to supposed to be a "bridge" for people with pre-existing conditions until ocare kicks in , in 2014.

But the idiots running it under budgeted it and now its out of money. No new applications are being takenofr it, how do I know? I have PCIP, and it's a nightmare at teh costs left over after the "insurance" supposedly pays.
