Corpse found in L.A. hotel's water tank.......update history of Hotel

also the fact that the Health Dept. allows the hotel to stay open after corpse was found in water before any tests were done is weird..

This is like something out of a horror movie. Who/or what is she waiting/hiding from in the hotel elevator. Talk about creepy...

sure, she seems worried, very cautious in even stepping out of the elevator...then she steps out and runs her hands through her hair for a few seconds, then steps back in...could be fatigue, more like omg..what now.

then she steps out and yes, the hands are gesturing, very animated--is she talking to someone outside the frame or to herself?? no doubt she seems either slightly more intoxicated or just freaking out as she ducks back into the elevator and begins pushing all the buttons again wildly...why did she not go to the stairwell? she was familiar enough with the hotel by then, and even at nineteen, she should have been familiar enough with the idea to find the stairs, although a young woman would not choose the stairs in a strange hotel, much less late at night.

for some reason, she really, really wanted that elevator to work.

It is liable..

i don't know how she even got INTO those tanks.
the tanks do not have attached ladders going up the side.
they are just round tanks, all sides smoothe.
there is just a tiny door on the top you would have to squeeze yourself into.
it would take a lot of planning and SKILL on her part to get into these tanks. and she would have to bring her own ladder!

they are not taking reservations for new guests at this time.
i feel bad for the people who live there.

thanks to both of you for pointing that out, as i am not familiar with "water tanks".
so it would have been quite an effort to take the alarm off (if working at all..) and get someone up there, let alone put a body through the small door into the tank.
so i suppose it was at least 2 doing that to her. the one she talks to at the elevator (she is not talking to herself..she is trying to be left alone and not harrassed) and the one watching the video cam (and later editing it).

edit: "she is trying to be left alone and not wanting to be harrassed any more". this is what i meant to say.

Exactly! Also instead of disposing of her body in the bushes or a remote area, whoever put her there would know that it wouldn't take long to find her. By placing her body in the water, it would cause a lot of backlash for the hotel. Makes me think it's an employee or someone with access to info the employees knew. Seems to obvious though.

OMG lol this review was from 2010. Community showers eh? wtf?

When we get to our floor & are trying to find our rooms, we see the "community showers & toilets." WE WERE NOT INFORMED OUR ROOM DID NOT HAVE A BATHROOM. The shower would make you calustrophobic. It looked like a place where a rapist would get u or where someone would stash a dead body. I also did not like the idea of sharing the shower!! There was no barrier to the shower or anything it was just a door seperating it from the hallway..& the toilets. OMG. There was doo-doo smeared all over one of them. By this time we were already disgusted & didnt even find our room yet. The hallways were hot being that there is no air conditioning & it smelled foul. & THEN we found our room.

Here's another possibility you won't hear on a conspiracy forum....

The girl entered the elevator relaxed and cheerful, mischievously pressed 4 floor buttons, which indicates that there was another person who was about to enter. After waiting a while, nobody came in, the the girl hid in the corner of the elevator hoping to give the second party a scare. Judging from the way the girl playfully and flirtatiously hopped out, the second party should be a man with whom she has an intimate relationship with. The reason for the elevator door remaining open is because this man was pressing the button outside. Although the girl opened her arms to express her dissatisfaction, she at last changed her plan to go down, and returned to the hotel room with the man. The elevator door closed and it went down, opening and closing its door at the floors on which the buttons were pressed, operating normally.

after reading those reviews, i have to ask:
what kind of parents don´t check first what hotel they book for their daughter?
in a city known for areas like that?
and why does a 19year old student not check the internet for herself where she is going to stay?
sorry, i am no one who is easily frightened, but i would not have stayed 1 night in a hotel like that.

with all that other stuff going on with the tc outbreak - i can´t believe this girl is real, real as in "this is her real name". looks all somewhat staged..

This may be a stretch, but I thought I would be the first to link this crime to Batman. Not "Dark Night Rises", but "Batman Begins". Liam Neeson was the first "bad guy", and if you rearrange the letters in his name it can spell LAM ELISA...anyone??

Why was this young tourist staying alone in this creepy hotel on the edge of skid row known to be a drug hangout?

Perhaps her odd behaviour might be indicative of drug use...for example PCP (Angel Dust) which often causes users to think they can fly, jumping off objects and buildings (and into water tanks)?

How would someone be able to carry someone up there and dump them in? Also it's a very small hole at top that only a child or I guess an asian woman could fit in, it looks like. How weird...

but it did seem she was harassed...but have a feeling she was injected with something when she first steps out before the real panic with the buttons...then notice the behavior.....switches in an instant...then is led away....to her slaughter......reminds me so much of the instant where the skateboarder passed the guy that ate the homeless man....they blamed bath salts......look back on that video you see him...make contact with him with a certain suspicious gesture.....after that the man dazed fell got up and ate the homeless man.....

How does one even know there are water tanks on a hotel roof? Think about it.. the last time you were at a hotel, did you think to yourself "gee, I wonder if there are water tanks on the roof?" And if she was trying to escape, why go up?
