Wow Daisy, that really sucked, I am glad you survived childhood in one piece. I do remember adults used to step in less, and maybe that sort of thing would not happen to you today. If you made a complaint to school, it would be investigated. I am a bit shocked that the boys would pick on a girl over and over, it was not considered manly for two boys to attack a girl. Really, that is terrible. The girls were cold but of course they were cold. I've heard about girl cliques. It's just hard for me to believe they could get these boys to do such dirty work for them, maybe they gave them some kind of sexual favors, or at least dangled some temptation in front of them.

As for the workplace, it is what it is, women got affirmative action so lots of them were hired, now they fight it out with each other girl-style. Females have a lot of attention to detail. I guess details get triple-checked even if nobody sees the big picture.
