Personal Story: Uncle In Dream Synchronous With His Passing
The following is a dream that I hold close to my heart.

My uncle, who was a chimney smoker was also a volunteer fire fighter.
Not exactly the best combination.

When I was young, my aunt and uncle would roll their own smokes with a manual machine (old school).
They would build a pyramid of cigarettes and smoke it down.
Lung cancer finally caught up to him and eventually he was hospitalized.

One early morning, I had a dream where I was walking around town and my uncle approached me and said...

"I'm okay now...I'm in a better place".
Right then, my phone rang...and I was told my uncle had just passed.

At his funeral my cousin mentioned she heard about my dream and said "he was busy that morning"...
Apparently a few other close relatives had the same experience.

To this day, that dream brings chills to my spine.

Please be gentle, this experience is very personal but I figured it would be a good time share this and hopefully put a positive spin on things.

This is NOT the end of the road.

Re: Personal Story: Uncle In Dream Synchronous With His Passing
oooooooooh man how i miss them all STILL--
and i truly believe we are considered VERY SPECIAL in their hearts that they literally come to us to let us know either in our sleeping state or when we are concious-
their voice--i gotta go now
a tap on the shoulder and their voice--baby don't cry but you know it was between me and G_d and i'm goin home
or gently in dreams you see them and they are smiling to let u know it's OK now-
or the deceased with a newly deceased friend or relative telling you so and so's OK now--see ???

it's a BEAUTIFUL THING inspite of the tears as i post this.

take it easy and BELIEVE.

Re: Personal Story: Uncle In Dream Synchronous With His Passing
My uncle came to me in a dream as he was dying. We where on a civil war battlefield, he was gutshot and he was in horrible pain(but there was no blood). He kept begging me to kill him, he was in horrible pain. I had someone bring me a pistol (in the dream) I shot him in the head three times.
In the hospital my uncles brain function suddenly ceased.
I woke up at about 2:15 am, within a minute or two of when he died.
He died of gangrene in his intestines.

Re: Personal Story: Uncle In Dream Synchronous With His Passing
I had a cool dream the night my great uncle died, years ago. I saw him standing in a room that would have been his ideal room, full of beautiful antiques. I noticed the wood floor, it was perfect and brand new, like it had never been walked on.

It was maybe his version of heaven.

Also the night my grandmother died, I dreamed I was sitting on the couch in our basement and my mom called down the stairs that my grandmother was dead.

I've heard others tell similar stories. Beautiful and mystical. I'm a skeptic so I guess it could just be a coincidence. But I hope it's not.

Re: Personal Story: Uncle In Dream Synchronous With His Passing
OP your uncle wanted you to know that his soul lives on. he is not dead only that vessel that he inabited for a time here on earth. It is not unusual for a visit like this to happen. Maybe your uncle never believed in the afterlife idk or maybe he doubted it our maybe you doubt it. He is now free of all pain and free of that old cancer ridden body. Like I said it is very common for our loved ones to pop in and say I feel great, this is so cool, I'm so happy, do not mourn for me. They eagerly await the time when you can come together again be it on the other side or in the next reincarnation. ONe thing about family is that we travel together in soul groups your uncle could have been your daughter another time or a sibling or your father or even spouse. We keep cycling back in soul groups. Another example would be you meeting someone for the first time and felt such a deep connection without any explanation for it. Or conversely you meet someone you utterly detest, again for no good reason; well maybe that person did something to you or a loved one of yours in a previous life.

I hope this helps

That others in your family experienced a similar thing suggests your uncle was communicating to you and others telepathically. The shared phenomenon also tends to verify the authenticity of what happened.

The fact that other close relatives were visited that morning was almost as surreal as my dream.
