4.7% isn't a small gain in day-trading dummy. If I kept holding onto my stock today I would now be nearing only a 1-2% gain . You prolly shouldn't talk about subjects you have no knowledge about.

We are all living off the fiat money system. It doesn't matter how we get the fiat money since we are all slaves to the system. I have to pay my taxes like any other slave to the money system (unlike the welfare system). I'm sorry that most are too dumb to play the fiat money system and decide to choose a career where they work 60 hours a week for a small paycheck. I make a lot more money investing than I would doing what I went to college for.

What I'm suggesting might seem like a subtle or even trivial shift in how we look at the world. But that sort of shift can be huge in terms of how it changes behavior. Class warfare strikes me as a dangerous worldview. It encourages a win-lose approach to government policy in order to pursue the elusive unicorn of "fairness." A more productive way to view the world is in terms of net creators and net consumers of wealth, at least so long as society makes it possible for any net consumer to become a net creator by going to school, training for a job, or investing in start-ups. For the middle class, it might simply mean spending less than they earn. I think this approach gets you to a healthy economy faster than a class war.

The people selling off stock is due to the REALITY that the stock market HAS TOPPED....yah, it might rise just above 14,000 for a while...but that is the END of the bull market.

if you have much of a portfolio in paper...YOU BEST BE LIQUIDATING.

Gold will climb...but the climb will be short lived. It might even spike at $2900. ...

if gold goes over 2500 , you will see FEDERAL INTERVENTION ...as in gold confiscations, regulated trades...price fixing. The price will be reduced to about 1200 because that is ALL IT IS WORTH...AS IN EXCHANGE RATE FOR GOODS.

forget about the fact that the dollar is worthless. Gold and silver will have about the same exchange rate NO MATTER HOW MUCH THE ECONOMY IS FUCKED UP.

whether in civil war or communism...it will still have the same BUYING POWER.

best move is to do what the RICH AND POWERFUL are doing. They are buying into tangibles...farms, factories, natural resource sources, cattle, etc...

As sharp AC noted earlier, this Bull Market has been long and shallow. Historically, those periods have preceded severe economic downturns.

The difference is now, that the USA hasn't had a Main Street recovery that has gone along with the market recovery.

So, while the banks, the leech realtors, and the day traders are making a killing the everyday Joe and Jane and the real wealth creators, small biz and start ups, are getting fucked in the proverbial ass without a reach around.
