Tucson's CRAZY weather

My sister's use to live in Tucson and I loved visiting. What a beautiful city you have. But I agree that your weather like the rest of the world,is definitely strange! I can understand that if you were in Flagstaff, then would see that kind of weather. But Tucson???? That's weird.

I live on the east side and this afternoon when I looked out the window I couldn't believe it!

But do you remember a few years ago when we had snow on April Fools day?

I am outside in it currently - at least under an overhang, halfway in my sleeping bag; fingers numb. Was out in it all day, tis life on the streets.

I saw the pix, I lived in phx for 15 years it snowed a few flakes once or twice ! But never like that on the valley floor!

Same storm that affected California yesterday. It originated from the Gulf Of Alaska. We got snow down to 1500 feet in Northern California which is pretty rare.

I miss AZ bad I think its the best state in the union! Police state! But still a great place to live! How are all those white cars with no licence plates and antenas with tinted windows driving by the evergreen facility doing? Man that stuff used to freak me out! Straight out of X files!

This weather is warm compared to sleeping outside two winters ago up in santa fe, where it got down negative 20 below zero.

for the blizzard during most of the afternoon, i was holed up under a bridge across the pantano wash; am down on fourth ave sleeping outside at the church.

it was nice to see the mountains so coated in snow, probably best snowstorm tucson basin has seen since the time i came out here in 1999.

GLP tried to perma ban me for a couple of months, but see; i sneaked in.

Douglas here. Yup, snow all day. Hail, 40mph gusts of wind. Nasty considering I'm usually waering just a sweater this time of year.

That's right I do remember that one too. But it was not nearly to this level. This was an all day event which is bizarre. I remember when I was a kid on Easter however many years ago that it snowed that it was all melted by noon. My friend and I had a snowball fight in the parking lot of Ihop at Oracle and (Limberlost maybe?, Prince? I forgot the exact cross street). How often do Tucsonans get to say that?? Lol. Good stuff.

Not even! Tucson is awesome. South side is kind of precarious. North west side is nice.

This is true. Tucson is a crime infested dump with major traffic problems.
