Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
Since life is just one theft, one lie, and one act of skulduggery after another for most people, it stands to reason that anyone who likes it here too much must be a scumbag. That's reason #1.

#2, if you like your money and your flashy cars and clothes chances are you're not going to do what is right if you have to make a choice between all your fancy stuff and doing what's right.

Look at it this way. The MarK Of The Beast will one day come. How many people are going to take it just do they can keep their jobs, and their cars and their iphones? And go to hell for an iphone.

Don't love all this phony worthless crap too much. It gets in the way of righteousness.

It means to let go of the things of this world and self centered living. Don't just live for your own benefit. Think of others and do good towards them. By giving up your ways you become worthy of achieving the kingdom of heaven.
That is my take on it.

It's a commentary about perception and how it affects one's state of consciousness and awareness of one's existence.

A person who immerses himself/herself in this physical plane and seeks an identity that is defined by the physical/material world will surely lose that identity (read as 'life' in the passage) when he/she passes. Every physical, living 'thing' on this plane will surely pass away - the physical existence is impermanent. So if you seek your identity and define yourself by the parameters of physical world, you will lose that identity (life) you have created when you inevitably pass away and move on.

On the other hand, a person who has embraced a spiritually-based (non-physical) mindset may find himself/herself to be unhappy ('hate' is a strong word) being temporarily 'stuck' in this physical/material world - but this perception will enable an individual to raise his/her awareness (or state of consciousness) to a sufficient threshhold where he/she is able to recognize & internalize the eternal nature of the soul (even while still inhabiting the physical flesh).

In other words, if a comet was scheduled to arrive tomorrow and wipe out everything on the Earth - the person who seeks a physical/material based identity will likely be horrified and feel that his/her 'life' will end with the 'death' of the physical body. The person who has internalized a spiritual identity will feel at peace within, because he/she understands that 'death' of the physical body is merely a necessary and inevitable process that enables the soul/spirit to transition back to it's natural (and eternal) form.

Does that make sense?

The current life in the flesh that mankind is experiencing was not designed to be the final form of existence.

Since the whole reality is controlled by sadistic leechers, deceivers and accusers, they made use of our unquencheable hunger, thirst, lust, pations, pains, to further their malignant corrupt goals.

God designed us this way, otherwise there would be no test.

At any point in time, if you find yourself in a situation of pation, happyness, pleasure, satisfaction, you got snared, entangled into loving this imperfect body/test. You got fooled. If you ever feel like you need anything that you dont have, you got fooled. If you covet others stuff.

The intentions behind are not that people cut their wrists and suicide, but live a life according to what has been bestowed upon you, while realizing the blatant differences, injustices, wickedness of those around you.

Just by the fact that are people suffering, or people who suffered in the past, prevent any coherent attempt to be happy or enjoy life. You are not supposed to enjoy life if not everyone is enjoying life, thats basic. You cannot expect to feel righteous or pure or whatever positive, when your peers are stuck in the mud in a systematic and unfixable way.

By seeing it, living it, enduring it and not taking part on it, you pass the test, you learn the lesson, you understand that the only thing you really need can only be given to you by God, wich is compassion on your crappy existence.

Its one of the best examples of advanced rethoric dogmatic that is completelly coherent to itself and is specially effective on specific targets, and unavoidable times, such as when people die and shit happens. Its designed so it cannot fail to endocrinate to those who get access and undertand passages such as the above. Thats one of the reasons that the true nature of God, Jesus, and their intentions, purposes, methods are never mentioned or attempted to be explained. But whenever God uses "lest" or "peradventure" and other connectors, its basically signaling intentions, concerns, etc.

Jesus came to kick the bucket, screwing up the plans of the evil fallen angels. Blue pill or Red pill. The fact people are endocrinated to seek pleasure, satisfaction, happyness, enjoy life to its fullest and want to consume and possess things no matter what... is just one of the main strings the fallen uses in controlling us.

You are trully free when you realize all that, because you then realize you just really need God and nothing else. There will be no shortage of water or food for you, everyone that needs to do something for you will have its heart opened, and everyone who should not have anything to do with you wont and neither your heart will be opened to them. Live like that for a few years, recognize God has been at your side all along, and when the last test comes, the tribulation, stick to what you learned and thats when you pass the test. Thats the only real test in this life, everything else is pointless and profits nothing, whatever you did before learning the truth you will realize its usually a preparation period for whatever specific task you will have to fullfill in the future for the side of God. You do not change, you do not move, you do not consent, you do not bow down, you do not unite where God has divided. Its the way of God or nothing. The moment you step to the right or left of that, your name gets removed from the book and you can be shot in the forehead, because you lose your salt.

There is no way to please both sides. The best you can really do is accept what you are given while sticking to Jesus way.

It is what it is.

You're supposed to give your life to him - not hold on to it.

After becoming saved, it's not longer 'your' life - but his.

You're supposed to hate the old self - recognize your flaws and want the old person to die - a new person - in his image - is born.

Everyone can interpret it differently..

This worldly life of man, government, society, entertainment, etc.

OR

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
I have been reading The Imitation Of Christ.

It is a comparison between earthly life and eternal life

Briefly, use this life to gain eternal life in heaven
If you value all these earthly things, it is all passing, not of eternal value

In this book it impressed me this....
Suppose a person has no thoughts on the eternal life and lives as he wants on earth, even if he becomes rich and famous.
It can all be taken away from you in an instant,
Or you can die and of what use was all your fame and riches

And if you end up in hell, you will be so miserable that you won't even remember the pleasures you had for that brief time you had on earth

So, use your life on earth not for earthly riches but to store up heavenly riches

Hope this helps

You can download the book free, simple common sense type of reading

There is another verse that goes something like this...If you love the world, then the love of the father is not in you.
When you are "born again" of the spirit. You will grow apart from this world and everything it has to offer. You will realize this is not your home, thus you will not love your life here. You will start to stay focused on your real home, the kingdom of God, and will gain eternal life. Hope that makes sense...This is my opinion.

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
Satan overran this earth and Jesus came to save it, you can choose between these two masters, Satan or Jesus, if you choose Jesus Satan is going to stuff you up as much as he can and if you grew in Christ you get stronger and Christ fights Satan on your behalf, as he is a power you cannot cope with on your own, you lose the pleasures of sin in this world Satan provides for you but you gain your soul when you die here, you receive eternal life. If you choose Satan you will have a good life and you can get rich if you want to, as witchcraft will protect you in this world but in the next world you would lose your soul. Children of God who have great generations behind them can also be wealthy but attained that wealth by staying in God's laws and God blessed them, these people mostly reach out to the less advantage to build up their lives restoring communties so they can look after themselves too, so wealth is not a bad thing if you treat it right, if it gets abused such child of God will be brought down by God. In Satan's world the more you abuse the better it becomes for you as the gates of hell is your protection, but when you get to the other side Satan laughs at you as you are going to burn with him in hell.

Jesus created Satan = think !

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
When a person gives their heart and life to Christ......they are born again of the Spirit....indwelt by the Spirit.

They die to their old life.....and have a new life in Christ.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it produces much grain.

"He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

"If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me, and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor."

One characteristic of those who give their lives to Christ.......is that Christ will become their first love......more than other people or the things of the world.

"He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, And he who loves sone or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me." (Mt 10: 37)

For those born of the Spirit......Christ becomes their first love. It is a natural development.

It means that this world is a TRAP world..traps include sex, love, body image, career, money, materialism, beliefs, politics, religion, black versus white, us versus them, alcohol, drugs, etc.etc. blah blah blah

It means if you are buying into the illusions pre-sent-ed you will remained trapped in this world. The can-die-man is supplying you with can-dies and those who fall for the TRAP remain.

Everything in this world en-trance-s people and by not buying into the illusions presented you TRANCE-END this world...

Point being for us divine birds this world is like a cage

I knew from a young age that there was something seriously wrong with this world

I want out.

If you find this world appealing then you are buying into the TRAP. If you hate this world you're on your way out

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
I love this writing:

“O thou servant of God!…”
O thou servant of God!
Thy letter was received. Thou hast spoken concerning thy lack of ability and capacity. Wert thou without ability and capacity, thou wouldst not have advanced toward the Kingdom of ABHA.
Consider how there are thousands of heedless souls who are asleep, while there is one who is conscious and awake! Even as His Holiness Christ has said, the friends of God are the salt of the earth, and the salt is but a little part of the whole. Undoubtedly the friends of God have been endowed with ability and capacity, on which account this became of the “chosen” and not of the “called.”
O thou spiritual friend! This world is a prison for heavenly souls, and this earthly world is but a cage, and not a nest, unto the divine birds. A prisoner who is awake and conscious will certainly seek for freedom, and a mindful bird will certainly wish for deliverance from the cage. When the heart becometh free from attachment unto this world, it will crave for the world of the Kingdom and seek for eternal life.

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
What I interpet from this verse is, we must realise ( the last letter of the alphabet on my keyboard is not working therefore i use s in its place)we are in this life to learn something. God made man and gave man free will, Lucifer becomes jealous and questions god, why do humans get to decide their outcome and I have to do your commands without choice. Not liking Gods answer Lucifer tries to take over the heavens, as punishment God cast Lucifer and lucifers and his sidekicks to earth. and here we find HELL. Lucifer will get a choice to return to gods grace someday, no one knows the outcome in reality. anyhow, i think personally we did something without gods choice or knowledge, god found out and cast us to earth with lucifer(hell). We are here to remember what we have when in gods grace, we must remember what we did to make god mad enough to evict us from his place. Our current life is not suppose to be for self, it is to pay the piper for trying to be independant,
realise whos the boss.
just my personal view of the meaning of that verse. each to his own share and learn from one another is how answers are found peace.

I truely want out I hate this world this life I face every second of every day. I wait my time I search for my answers my way out. It will happen I wont be trapped here.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
Fellowship with Him and One Another

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

It's not that complicated really

Ever wonder why the word beLIEf has the word LIE in it?

Ever wonder why the word LIE-brary has the sound LIE in it?

Ever wonder why the word beLIeVE has LIVE and LIE in it?

Ever wonder why the world LIE-GHT has the sound LIE in it?

This world is a LIE...a world of LIE-GHT.

You are in a can-die store and there are many can-die-s available GOTCHA

I've been going through a process where I have detached from everything in this world and I can SEE clearly that this world is a TRAP world.

Any attachments you have is LIVING and LIFE but really everything is BACKASSWARDS . Meaning those who are living their lives are actually DEAD inside...SOULLESS for lack of better terminology.

"Divine Birds" will know instinctively there is something wrong with this world. You feel it. You know it.

There is no living and no life in this world of LIES. It is false projection and a TRAP

didn't read the thread, but it is about selfishness. Living "YOUR" life for yourself and doing what you want, or living your life for others. Doing what God wants you to do. It is either all about you, or it is all about God.

Jhn 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal

the first and second life in this verse means BREATH ....the third means LIFE

the life to be loved-less is the breath that animates all creatures ......or that which makes men only soulish beings existing within creation....

the life to be sought is that which is BOTH the breath in the container AND the container animated/birthed as one .... a soul spiritual being ....

this is seen with the name ADAM ....A = ALEPH/Alpha and DAM means blood .....ADAM is a blood dam ....or a stagnant being

aleph/breath must be set free .....then the CONTAINER/DAM begins to become a BIRTHED LIVING BEING .....

men were given the "breath of life in their nostrils" ......and most have held it in awaiting the day of their EXHALING ......

inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale ....LIVING BEINGS .....
