Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
didn't read the thread, but it is about selfishness. Living "YOUR" life for yourself and doing what you want, or living your life for others. Doing what God wants you to do. It is either all about you, or it is all about God.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30370902

It has nothing to do with selfishness AT ALL

(John 12:25 he who loves his life will lose it, he who hates his life in this world will gain eternal life. From memory might not be exact.)

It has to do with the FALSE SELF and EGO...meaning who you are has nothing to do with this FAKE WORLD. This world is a world of LIES. Even who you think you are (FALSE SELF) is a LIE.

The writing John 12:25 clearly tells you if you hate this world you will TRANCE END this world...meaning if you are en-trance-d by the ILL-usions presented you are trapped.

It's the same as the writing "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

What does that mean? It means you can't take any baggage with you to enter the kingdom....meaning any attachments to this world are a TRAP. Attachments to this world are directly connected to EGOic Self

I read it in another topic but i dont understand.

John 12:25 he who loves his life will lose it, he who hates his life in this world will gain eternal life. From memory might not be exact.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13449452

He who loces the cares and desires of this world will lose his life, why, because when you stay stuck in the materiality of life, you have no REAL spiritual function, the bible calls this the dead, the spiritually dead.

But when you are ready to hate this life, the physical reality only with all of it's sorrows and suffering, then you will gain it, because you will seek the inner path of meditation, this is called eternal life, eternal life is not some fairyland place where your physical body lives forever, bodies die.

Joseph Campbell said that the ancient writers refer to eternity an living in the now in the moment.

Hope that helps.

You must lose your ego ( satan) Paul said I must decrease while christ must increase, do you understand?

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
Spiritual Ego

The “Spiritual Ego” is a “spark” from the great “Divine Flame” that catalyzed the creative process of the universe. This spark is our portion of that flame, perhaps even, our portion of God Himself. Till this very day, this “spark” (that we all carry inside) still holds the memory of this passionate event that we all share with our creator - and the rest of creation. This spark still identifies itself as being a part of this Oneness. Its constant desire (if we are sensitive to it) is to unite our individual selves (and the rest of creation) back into the creator. Essentially, this spark – our spiritual ego - is all about “Universal Love”.

But first we must raise our consciousness above the cares of the material ego driven life.

The meaning of the word SALVATION

A symbol of the liberation of the soul/light/photon that you are in that flesh, from the lower nature (first three chakras of the body), proceeded by the process of purification through suffering and evil, during the cycle of evolution.

The higher self (christ) during the process of involution in the higher mind, the soul center, and so forms the germ soul. The spiritual evolution proceeds upwards through the seven seals/chakras, thereby liberating the self, washed in the blood of the lamb (the pineal gland of the brain). The lamb slain. Blood is a symbol of the life force, electromagnetism. It's also a symbol of the blood left over after the slaying of the lamb or anumal nature.

And who stands ever vigilent to insure that this doesn't happen?

Satan, the ruler of darkness and ignorance within the soul and mind. "And jesus said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen, as lightning from heaven" Luke

The symbolism describes the perfected indwelling soul within each aspirant.

The adversary is the divine mind which strives against the divine nature within the soul.

"your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking who he may devour; whom withstand steadfast in your faith" The desire mind motivated by the strength of the desires and senses, seeks to dominate the soul, but the soul is exhorted to resist by relying upon the higher nature"

"the true devil in which we have to be sober and vigelent is within man" the lower affections, thoughts and appetites, the animal part of human nature."

Christ drives out our legion of indwelling vices.

The bible story in a nut shell!!

4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
No explanation necessary

Alan Watts used to say, “The ‘you’ who you think you are doesn’t exist.” The ego-self is a hallucination. So, who am I? In the quietness of non-concept prayer, in the silence of meditation, in the emptying of “self” to the One in whom we live and move and have our being that is, in Watts’s words,

“to come into the presence of the God who has no image. Behind the Father image, behind the Mother image, behind the image of light inaccessible, behind the image of profound and abysmal darkness, there’s something else which we can’t conceive at all. Dionysius the Areopagite called it the Luminous Darkness. Nagarjuna called it Sunyata the Void."

I'm not a big fan of cryptic having been deluded by the new age nonsense for years. I've heard all the sayings "Open the door...." yada yada yada

Instead of being cryptic kindly state directly what you mean by walking around it..

I can see a force that controls people around me in egoic character role..This force also tries to controls what is presented to me in this world and it has affected my ability to support myself.

This is the meaning of that verse:

Those that follow the path of God would not be tempted by any sin or wrong doing.

So no adultry, alcohol, harming anyone, etc those that follow this path will have eternal life in the HereAfter.

This world is only loved by those looking for a shallow and fun life.

This is not just for Christians but also for Muslims and Jews and mankind.

I agree with you completely friend.

My earlier reply was an attempt to speak in more simplistic/general terms (rather than cut to the chase) as to not create any confusion on the part of the individual who was inquiring. It can be challenging to find the right words to communicate sometimes, because individuals will inevitably associate varying 'meanings' to different words/terms. That along with the fact that as awareness 'changes', so do the meanings affixed to the terms that we conceptualize.

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
hey ....753......i'll respond here if you don't mind ....

the world is controlled by way of the 4 systems (4 horsemen) .....all the systems have been taken over by ONE ....

it is easy to see that education does not open the mind of our children ...it makes them submit ....they do this as they, any ed. systems, have submitted to MONEY .....

it is also easy to see that religions of the world are taken over by the monetary system .....as they also submit ....

and certainly in this hour we see the governments of the world submitting to the monetary systems .....

MONEY now rules all the systems as it does it self .....

the awakened ones learn to step away from governments, religions, and education (as it exists today) ....

money/financial systems have extended into the individual through all training by the dogmatic systems ......

because it seems most personal it is the hardest to walk away from ........

all the systems make individuals think they are required systems ..when actually we awake to them and find out they are not required .....

it is the same with our own personal money problems .....if we can walk away from them.....we can the last one .....

it is the love of mammon/money that is the most difficult to release our selves from .....

the love of money maintains the need of .....we only think the need comes first .....

the 4 world systems maintain existence .....which is caused by the light of the world ......

when the light comes from within .....no more systems are required ......thus no more need ....and no more love of money ....it was only one of the systems of control ....

the MOON EYE (money) is only a REFLECTION of a deeper problem .....it is evidence of a SOLAR/SOL/SOUL problem .....

the problem is maintained with the thought "there is nothing new under the sun"

we rise above the SUN/SON .....then the sun and moon go dark ...pass away .....as the star fall down/bow a knee

well hope you catch this.....

I posted this verse in a thread last night, someone said they hated their life and it made me think of this. There's a reason some of us hate living here and never get used to it. We aren't supposed to and its good to not line it. The world tries to convince us something is wrong with us if we aren't happy with what we see going on. This verse is God telling us we aren't supposed to like it.

the world is controlled by way of the 4 systems (4 horsemen) .....all the systems have been taken over by ONE ....

it is easy to see that education does not open the mind of our children ...it makes them submit ....they do this as they, any ed. systems, have submitted to MONEY .....

it is also easy to see that religions of the world are taken over by the monetary system .....as they also submit ....

and certainly in this hour we see the governments of the world submitting to the monetary systems .....

Hi Wind Rider,

Nice cryptic answer...

Money = My eye = all seeing eye yes?

I don't love money. I don't care about it. It's just a tool for me. In fact I rarely think about it until the guy who is renting this box ask for it

So you are saying those with money have a soul problem...meaning spiritually vacuous because their God is the green paper? They are caught up in that ill-us-ion which is why they are trapped between 4 walls yes?

You are saying to walk away from the digits (money) yes?

You are telling me that supernatural is beyond these four walls yes?

So you are saying I need to let go of it?

You are telling me to just forget about it and see what happens?

Please respond.

I will tell what love can do...it can allow children to live with sexual perverts and it's called love.
Who is programmed to say NO to Love....who?
Not many and it is sad

Re: Please help me and explain this bible quote ( John 12:25)
Jesus is saying STOP Loving Everything.
Turn it down a notch and just be good for a change.
What good is not good enough for ya, so you gotta love everything and anyone.
Being good dosen't break your heart but love will.
Love is a poison.
Love potion number 9.
He's called the Good Samaritan not the Loving Samaritan.
HE saw EVERYTHING and said it was Good.
Where are the Good Judges and the Good Cops...now they all love their position and nothing is good anymore cause we choose to love it instead.

We need to see GOOD people in positions of power and we should NEVER love them not even once.
