Understood, one of the best AR's made in my opinion.: According to posts on several gun-supporting blog sites, Armalite answered email inquires with some unwelcome attitude. This is the reply reportedly sent from a sales rep identified as Pat Raley. Dear concerned gun owner, First of all I would like to say thank you for filling my email with all this spam email. Second, I am not sure where you got this blanket email from to send out as spam, but please stop it. Third, The manufacturer is not the one you need to convince. You need to convince the law enforcement agencies and the common people about their mistake in electing these officials and have them removed. Again NOT the manufacture. AR Stands for ArmaLite… Respectfully, Pat Raley |

Armalite might be the "original" ar, but Spikes that are on that list make a product that is every bit as good, and in my opinion Superior to Armalite. So i'll be happy just buying Spikes from now on. |

If the Govt wants arms and ammo, it can buy them in any country they want to. Gun firms cut off their nose to spite their face for political reasons and then go out of business as guns are banned. Meanwhilst in another country.. Well, you get the picture. But the end result is the same. You will not be able to buy a gun in the USofA. This is what you call the law of unintended consequences. |

I can promise you that the sales amounts are negligeble when comparing the sales that the manufacturer sells to the public. Would it impact the sales, of course it would, so does not selling to the NY police, albeit in a smaller grade. However, if the public supported such a measure by transfering their purchases from the likes of Armalite to Spikes, then the loss from a few thousand rifles to the FBI wouldn't even be noticeable. Remember, the federal government doesn't pay the "retail" price either. A single earned sale on the private market is worth two to the government. |

They can't force us to work or buy gas or whatever. I certainly would like to see something like that go down in my lifetime. |
