Stock futures down across the world. Is the collapse about to begin?

You can warp those numbers in number of ways. Military industrial complex for example is the focal point of government spending, they spend money in ouddated tanks that sit on fields and warships that wont see the light of battle (see the numbers on warships..america has a shit load more then next top 5countires combined). For example China is blowing up those numbers by ordering huge construction projects, while the US is more about government support of international companies.

I believe Germany has had two or three quarters of negative growth now as well...

My trips to the grocer tell me it's already collapsing. The fact there are no jobs tells me that too.

Lady in blue...I generally agree with you...but, not this time. The economy is not going to crash alone. This is a REALLY planned event. I expect "other" events taking place at the same time...like "visitors from outer space" or major earthquakes or meteor hits or something. A sudden collapse of EVERYTHING will ensue and gee...presto, "a man" (read Anti-Christ) will appear "out of nowhere" and have all of the solutions...only catch...you'll have to accept this little mark on your right hand or on your forehead...in order to be able to buy and sell.

And all it takes is 4,000,000,000 a day in thin-air-dollars to pump our precious rigged markets.

I should have elaborated more...

I thought the collapse was going to occur in 2007. And by all rights...it should have. What happened? Well, the governments used a confidence game - the root for "con game" and propped up the system with fiat money. By all sane thinking...the injections of fiat should have sent the economies of the world into a tailspin. But, the con game worked and people kept confidence in the system...but, why the shell game...to delay the collapse...only to make it bigger? There was a reason for "their" madness. The best I could come up with is that "they" wanted a synchronized collapse of ALL systems..."order out of chaos" you know ;-)

Watch the negitive numbers grow. Everytime we hit a 00 or a 50 (-50. -100, -150 etc...) we take a shot.

It's investors selling off and swing trading after the market has been going up for the past few weeks. You should expect sell offs and some bearish trends due to the "sequestor" talk. No doom here, just some people that don't understand how the market works.
